About the home

The villa has recently been refurbished with a a new fully equipped open plan kitchen which includes a dishwasher and washing machine. The large open plan lounge/dining area has cable tv and a multi region DVD player and has seating for 6 people. It opens out onto a large terrace with loungers, outside furniture and a gas BBQ and also benefits from views towards the hills and sea which makes it a lovely spot to sit and relax. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.

Upstairs there are two large double bedrooms with full en suite bathrooms with the master bedroom opening up onto a covered upstairs patio with uninterrupted views across the bay. There is also outside furniture on this balcony. The second bedroom has two queen size beds. Also available if required is a single folding bed which can be used for children in the master bedroom.

The villa benefits from ceiling fans and AC in the bedrooms and lounge/diner.

The villa also has Internet WIFI which is free to our guests and we supply a local mobile telephone for our guests to use.

Outside there is a private terrace which is a lovely place to sit and eat or just to relax.

The Antigua region

Antigua is the largest of the British Leeward Islands with the temperatures of around 30c all year round it makes it an ideal all year round holiday destination. Know for it's 365 beaches it offers a variety of beaches from the deserted beach where you feel like you are all on your own to the busier tourist beaches.

As well as visiting the beaches there are a variety of other activities that you can take part in from visiting the historical docks at English Harbour to going down a zip wire in the tropical rain forest or shopping in the duty free shops in St John's.

The Jolly Harbour / Jolly Harbour Villas area

Jolly Harbour is a 500 acre gated community which offers everything you need for a wonderful holiday. There are two fingers one of which is South Finger and the other is North Finger with the commercial centre and marina located between them. Within the site there are two sandy beaches catering for everyone there is the long busy South beach with its Beach bar and watersports and the smaller quiet North Beach.

Jolly Harbour is home to the Carribean's largest marina and it's facilities include an 18 hole golf course, watersports, 25m swimming pool, tennis courts, squash court and a fully equipped gym. Within the resort there is an excellent selection of shops selling goods from watersports products to paintings. there is also a bank, pharmacy and comprehensive supermarket which includes some waitrose branded products.

There are a variety of restaurants within the site including an excellent Italian restaurant located on North Finger. When it is time to eat and if you do not feel like visiting one of the restaurants you could prepare your food in our fully equipped kitchen or order a take away and sit on the terrace watching the sun go down.

Due to the size of the site most people travel around on golf carts and we can arrange for the hire of a golf cart during your stay if required.

If you wish to explore the island there are a variety of excursions that can be taken or if you wish to catch the local bus and explore the island on your own then this is possible from the bus stop at the front of the resort.

Virgin Atlantic and British Airways both fly directly to VC Bird Airport in Antigua.

The airport is about 20 minutes from the villa. Our agent can arrange a taxi for you to take you from the airport to our villa or if you would prefer we can recommend a car hire company.

While staying In Jolly Harbour we recommend that you hire a golf cart to get around the 500 acre gated community
