The Antigua region
The Caribbean island of Antigua has an all year tropical climate ranging from 26-30 degrees C, enjoy 365 Beaches one for everyday of the year to relax & chill out on! Antigua is an English speaking island & you will find the locals helpful & friendly. Driving is on the left as in the UK and the local currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar $EC although most places take $US dollars as well.
Visit English Harbour, Nelson's Dockyard with all its History or enjoy the regular Sunday afternoon Party atmosphere with a Rum Punch at Shirley Heights where you can listen & dance to a Steel Band and a reggae band later in the evening.
Take a trip to the capital St John's for an opportunity to Duty free shop, enjoy local culture and visit the quayside where the cruise ships come in or just relax in a Bar and experience the laid back lifestyle of the Caribbean.

How to get there
Jolly Harbour is approximately 20 mins away from VC Bird International airport, Antigua, lying on the west side of the Island.
Airlines that fly from the UK to Antigua are British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, First Choice & BMI.
Cost of $30 /$35 for a personally arranged Taxi to meet you from the airport to take you directly to your Villa.
Car hire is available on site at Jolly Harbour complex or this can be arranged for you with Tropical Rentals. Local buses available outside Jolly Harbour to various destinations including St John's the capital which is approx 6 miles away.
There is also a Taxi rank within the complex if required. Most facilities are within walking distance from the Villa.
