Beautifully refurbished luxury apartment just within the old city walls in the " Casco Historico". This is a lovely quiet plaza, tucked away yet within easy reach of the best Jerez has to offer.

Jerez is a jewel of the south: a handsome city of broad avenues, palm-shaded squares and older, narrow streets. It’s the home of sherry, a world centre for equestrianism and the cradle of ‘pure’ flamenco

The best known symbols of Andalusian culture are in evidence throughout the city

The city Sherry bodegas ring the centre while the famed equestrian school, the bullring and the flamenco schools all speak of deep-rooted culture. But the city’s shopping districts are modern and full of big retailers.
Events Jerez stages two big flamenco festivals – the first in Spring, the second in September. Carnival and Easter are huge, but the highlight of the year is the week-long May horse fair. Also in spring, the Spanish motorcycle grand prix almost doubles the town’s population for a weekend.

Location Apart from its own international airport, road connections are excellent, with the main north-south motorway running past the city, another new motorway connecting Jerez with Gibraltar and a third linking to the east linking the city with Arcos and beyond.

Great choice of airports. Jerez (10 minutes) has daily flights from from the UK with Ryanair and connecting flights to Madrid and the rest of Europe.

Seville also has daily flights to UK and is only 45 minutes. Gibraltar also has a choice of daily flights to UK (Gatwick, Luton & Manchester) and is only 1 hour away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jerez. It is a lovely Spanish town - just what we were looking for. The apartment is really lovely and Araceli is really nice. Shelley July 2010

'I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time in Jerez and really enjoyed staying at the apartment. The facilities were excellent within the apartment - it had everything we needed for our 3 week stay - private roof terrace with seating and barbeque, full kitchen appliances and utensils, air conditioning, parking, TV, DVD player, and even WIFI. The apartment was really clean and spacious with really nice fixtures and comfortable furniture. The location is fantastic and so near to all the shops, supermarket, restaurants, bars, bus/train stations, yet Plaza Mirabal is really quiet and peaceful.
