Farmhouse | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 8
This cosy, romantic cottage has all modern conveniences as well as its well preserved features- including: sandstone archways, farmhouse-style flagstones, original interior and exterior doors, open log fires, wattle and daub walls with lime plaster. Private parking is available for several cars or larger vehicles.
Inside it looks like a well loved home thanks to an interesting mixture of antique furniture and wooden floors. The sitting room is located downstairs and it has an open log fireplace. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms (2 very large doubles and 1 smaller double which all together can sleep a minimum of 6 people). There is also one main family bathroom with a Victorian bath, shower, basin and toilet on the first floor and a separate toilet downstairs. There is a large kitchen with dining table big enough to seat 8.
The upper part of the garden and meadow has panoramic views across unspoilt farmland and the Sudety Mountains -an ideal spot to relax. To the rear of the cottage is a large enclosed and private lawned garden complete with garden furniture and barbecue. The setting is a walkers' and bird watchers' paradise with countless walks both in the neighbourhood and further away (Karkonosze mountains routes).

The West Poland/Sudeten Mountains region
South-west Poland has one of the most diversified landscapes in the country and is therefore particularly valued by tourists. Foreign visitors are especially attracted by the Karkonosze Mountains. Upper Silesia was and still is an important economic centre of the country.
The region comprises the following three voivodships: Dolnoslaskie Voivodship with its capital in Wroclaw, Opolskie Voivodship with its authorities seated in Opole, and Slaskie Voivodship with administrative centre in Katowice.
Beautifully located in a valley, Jelenia Gora is an ideal base for trips to the Karkonosze Mountains, one of the most valued recreational and leisure areas in Poland. The town has a number of architectural buildings and other elements from various periods, some of which can be found in the intricately renovated Old Town.
What is more, Jelenia Gora boasts a rich cultural life, with the most famous event being the International Festival of Street Theatre in the summer. An added attraction is Cieplice Zdroj, the oldest Polish spa, which is located within the town’s boundaries.
