Steadings Cottage is an 18th century red sandstone granary converted to a cottage whilst retaining all its character and charm. It has an elevated sitting room which has views of the Border hills and overlooks the dining kitchen. Comfortable seating for 8 with HD tv, dvd/cd free wi-fi. The country kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, full size cooker and a fridge. Washing machine and freezer in the utility room.
A designer en-suite shower room is off a spacious double bedroom and the twin bedroom has a family bathroom/shower
adjacent to it.
The Steadings Cottage is a great place to explore the beautiful Scottish Borders and also the Northumberland attractions are a short drive away.
Children are welcome and we have large grounds where they can play also a paddock with a tame sheep to feed.
Up to 2 pets are welcome by arrangement. There is a £10 per pet per week charge.

Chesters is situated 6 miles from the border and in the gentle rolling Border hills and in an area of "special scenic landscape". Leave the traffic behind whilst you wander along the many quiet country lanes or explore the small towns and villages. The area is full of castles, abbeys and historic houses, also visitor attractions galore to suit all ages and tastes. There is a great day out for the kids at Jed Forest Deer Park just up the road.
