This conveniently situated, attractively furnished apartment is less than 2 minutes walk from the Arenal - a beautiful, sandy half-moon bay with a gentle slope to the sea - ideal for young and old alike. The apartment has a large lounge/diner which is light and airy and equipped with dining table and chairs, TV,DVD,sofa and bed settee to sleep another 2 guests. From the living area there is a west facing sun terrace with patio table and chairs. The modern, fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, oven and hob together with a microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a washing machine and drying area for hanging wet towels and costumes. The 2 spacious bedrooms have ample built-in wardrobe space and the bathroom has bidet and bath with overhead shower. The apartment has its own secure parking bay and is within walking distance of lively bars, restaurants and shops as well as tennis courts and swimming pools.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Javea on the Costa Blanca has a choice of beaches for those seeking water sports such as wind surfing, jet biking or sailing. The warm seas are perfect for diving, snorkeling and water skiing. Go-karting and quad- biking are also available. The Costa Blanca has many renowned golf courses with 9 hole courses in Javea ,Moiraira and Altea and an 18 hole internationally renowned course at La Sella (Denia) and the Seve Balesteros designed course at Oliva both around 30 minutes away. There are also very good courses at Valencia and Alicante, in particular the famous 18-hole championship links course at El Saler, for those who don’t mind a drive before a round.There are many other sporting activities with football, tennis, bowls etc- you name it and it's never too far away. Apart from the sporting activities there is plenty for the kids to do should they get bored with the swimming pool and beaches. Less than 30 minutes away there are many attractions for all ages including a Safari Park, 'Mundomar' an Animal Water Park, 'Aqualandia' a theme Swimming Park and 'Terra Mitica' a large Fun Park, boasting some of the largest rides in Europe.
Javea / The Arenal area
Javea has it all : sandy beaches, great restaurants and bars, authentic Spanish culture, a lovely old town, a bustling port -altogether a place you will want to return to year after year. Bathed by the Mediterranean sea and sheltered from the continental winds by Mount Montgo,it is no wonder that the World Health Organization selected Javea as having a near-perfect climate for longevity. Although Javea is cosmopolitan it is still Spanish without a high-rise package tour hotel in sight. The spectacular Fiestas begin in June and continue throughout the summer months - they are a great attraction for all ages with fireworks, parades and street dancing. The apartment is situated in the Arenal which has a beautiful sandy half-moon bay with a gentle slope to the sea and accredited by the World Health Organization with a blue flag standard. Monitored by the Red Cross Beach Patrol the beach is ideal for young and old alike. Behind the beach is a promenade lined with bars and restaurants offering everything from live bands to traditional restaurants. There is a small fair for the children in the summer months with rides, trampoline and go-karts. Within a few minutes drive is the fishing port with a large marina, intimate cobbled streets, a brightly lit promenade of restaurants and bars, and clean pebbled beaches. The traditional historic town with white house fronts and cobbled streets is a typical Spanish town relatively unspoilt with a quiet and relaxing ambience and it has many traditional 'tapas bars' and a weekly market. The fun train, which runs during the summer months, is a great way to get between these three areas.
How to get there
The apartment is just over an hours drive from either Alicante or Valencia airports.Both these airports are served by low cost airlines such as Easyjet, Monarch and Ryan Air flying from many locations in the the UK. An airport transfer service is available for 85 Euros from Alicante and 90 Euros from Valencia for up to 8 adults and their luggage.Car hire can be arranged in advance and the vehicle collected from the airport. Although a car is recommended it is not essential due to the apartments superb location- it is within walking distance of the safe,sandy Arenal beach and lively bars, restaurants and shops A local bus service runs to the fishing port and traditional historic town of Javea which are less than 5 minutes away.
