About the home

In an elevated exclusive position overlooking Granadella Bay, this enormous, luxurious, south facing villa offers stunning sea views as well as privacy, tranquillity and relaxation yet is only a few minutes drive from beaches, bars, restaurants & shops.

The house sleeps 13, and up to 19 when the optional apartment is booked. Built in 2005 with many luxury features including air con in every room, marble floors, granite kitchen tops, marble/glass bathroom tops.

The villa is large enough to accommodate all guests to sit and dine together, inside and out, and with 4 covered terraces and 6 patios, there’s spaces for everyone and plenty to entertain you, including a pool table, table tennis, Boules (petanque), 3 TVs with over 150 channels from 5 countries, Nintendo Wii and exercise equipment.

The main house is on 2 levels and internal stairs lead down to the optional apartment below. All rooms have marble floors, air conditioning, central heating, and double glazing. It was built in 2005, is modern, light and airy, and has wonderful sea views from 9 rooms. It is over 400 sq. metres, providing plenty of space and privacy for all.

.The top floor houses the truly stunning master bedroom suite with dressing room, double bath and hydro massage shower. There is also a large, super king size 4 poster bed room and a twin room, both en-suite. There’s also a large open and covered terrace with 270 degree breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and surrounding hillside.

The middle floor, at pool level, includes a very large, open living, dining and kitchen area with wall to wall windows looking out to sea, 2 suites of furniture and a 42 inch TV, with channels from England (50+ including sky), Spain(20+), France (5), Germany (60+), Holland (6), and over 160 radio channels. Media player with over 900 movies.

The main dining table can easily seat 12.

There is also a main bathroom, two twin bedrooms, one en-suite, and a Moroccan room with a double and oversized single bed. This room can also be used as a very relaxing second living room. These two levels have 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and can sleep up to 13 people.


The separate apartment below (available optionally) has a double bedroom, shower room, a kitchen/dining/living room with a studio couch and 2 single beds (one pull out and one fold down), and patio. The house and apartment have 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms (5 with spacious walk in showers) and can sleep 19 people.

Further details outdoors:
Spanish living is about being outside and the 6 open and 4 covered terraces provide space and let everyone spread out. Outside the main lounge is the 10 x 5m pool with Roman steps (heating opetional), a solar heated shower, a very large patio, covered terrace and BBQ area where 19 people can dine alfresco under shade. There are 12 sun loungers, 20 chairs and 4 tables. The outside kitchen in the covered terrace area has a full size, built-in BBQ plus a large George Forman low fat grilling machine, an extra drinks fridge and a gas oven.
The top terrace, accessible from the master suite or from a separate door, has both open and covered areas and has wonderful views and usually a cooling breeze.
In front of the pool is a secluded garden, shaded by a pine and palm tree, that offers a quiet retreat. A swing ball is provided for the more active. This is the only terraced area without a sea view, which can be seen if you peek over the hedge.
In front of the apartment is a covered terrace with a table tennis table. In the rear garden a 5x5 metre covered terrace houses a pool table and dart board, and lower down there is a boules (petanque) court with another terrace shaded by trees.

The property is private and fully secure, having high walls around its perimeter and an electrically operated gate. Four cars can be parked within the gated parking area.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

This is the most easterly point of mainland Spain and enjoys a unique climate rated as 'environmentally near perfect' by the World Health Organisation. Its a mixture of stunning 100m high cliffs, rocky coves, fishing harbours and clean sandy beaches. Located a few minutes drive from Javea's beaches, lively bars, quality restaurants, bars, shops and historic Old Town. Numerous fiestas, processions, firework displays, Saints' days, historical re-enactments, markets all year.

The theme parks of Aqualandia, Mundomar, Vergel Safari Park, Terra Mitica and Terra Natura are all superb days out. The regional capital of Valencia also offers F1 Grand Prix racing, America's Cup yatch racing, superb aquarium, Imax, opera house, etc. Ferries take you up and down the coast, or to Ibiza and Majorca. Take a drive inland to the Jalon valley for lunch or to the fortified hill top town of Guadalest.

The Javea area

Javea has three main areas - Old Town, the Port and the Arenal (large horseshoe shaped sandy bay).
At the centre of historic Old Town is the stone fortified church, indoor market housed in an old convent, public buildings. A maze of narrow, shady streets houses shops, bars and restaurants. The main fiestas and processions take place in Old Town.

The port area is a mixture of interesting bars, waterside restaurants, a yacht marina and has a large fishing fleet which unload into the fish market where you can by your own fish, lobsters, etc. Travel along the coast by wheeled 'Noddy' train to the sandy beach area of the Arenal.

The very wide beach fronts a shallow sea with bouys for demark the swimming area. Sunshades, sunloungers, children's' play areas, volleyboall nets, pedalos, palm trees all add to a relaxing beach experience. The wide promenade fronts lively bars, a tremendous variety of restaurants, shops, and in the evening is set up with craft stalls.

The many local fiestas take place throughout the year - Three Kings, Moors and Christians, burning of the Fallas, bull runs, bonfires on the beach at San Juan, celebrate the gathering of the grape harvest, Medival markets.

Javea is midway between Alicante and Valencia - airports well served by budget airlines including Easyjet, BMIBaby, Flybe, Jet2, Ryanair, etc.

We will arrange airport transfers or hire cars if you wish.

Excellent motorways make driving easy from all over Europe.

Take your own car on the ferry via France or Northern Spain.

“Luxurious villa, ideal for large families with views to die for” We have been lucky to have travelled to many places in the world, but this is without doubt one of the best villas we have ever stayed in. We were a large group 13 people ( 3 families ) but because the place is so big, we never felt cramped. The villa is built to a very high standard, no expense spared, with marble floors throughout, granite worktops in the kitchens, and luxury bathrooms. It is just like in the pictures on the advert, wonderful pool, huge upper balcony and very private massive patio areas, not overlooked, with views to die for, built high in the hill side overlooking one of the many bays around Granadella, very quite ( not even any dogs barking ) ,you are amongst what can only be described as millionares row. Best of all were the friendly owners Alan and Diana who personally looked after the villa, no agents, they were very welcoming and made our holiday a wonderful memorable experience. Pool heating is available and very welcome especially April, May, October.

There is a discount for holidays of more than 1 week.

Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 20% deposit, the balance being due 8 weeks before your holiday begins.

A breakages deposit of £800 is needed and will be returned within a week of your leaving and after the property inspection.

Payment can be by bank transfer or cheque.

The villa is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival.

Holidays of more than one week include a weekly bed linen and bathroom towel change.
