It has typical Mediterranean trees and plants but is also a very fertile area with extensive orange groves and fruit and almond trees. Javea / Montgo areaJávea has escaped the high rise development of some Costa Blanca towns and has three distinct areas. The old hill town (pueblo) with its traditional markets, the fishing port and marina and Arenal promenade with its safe sandy beach and entertainments. All areas have seen development but mostly with low rise apartments and villas. How to get thereAlicante Airport is about one hour away and has the greater choice of budget airlines. Valencia is about one hour and fifteen minutes away and now has an increasing number of cheaper flights from the UK and northern Europe. A hire car is strongly advised and there are many companies doing very good deals this year. The internet is the best source of current information..

The English speaking owner has an office at the back of the villa, and any problems can usually be dealt during the few hours a day he is working there. ConditionsA refundable damage deposit of €400 is required upon arrival, refundable within two weeks of departure, subject to a satisfactory property inspection. Rental rates

SPECIAL RATES All accommoation is on the lower floor and the above rates are for when the owners are not present on the upper floor. A reduction of 15% on the above rates is available when the owners remain on the upper floor, where they have separate access, parking etc. Tenants have exclisive use of the garden and swimming pool. Please enquire about this offer. LONGER STAYS For two weeks the above figures would be reduced by 5% For three weeks the above figures would be reduced by 10% BOOKING Reservations may be made by telephone, but need to be confirmed by e-mail or post. Receipt of the deposit of 30% is required to secure the booking and the balance of 70% is due four weeks before the start date. Payments made can only be refunded if written notice of cancellation is received at least four weeks before the start date. PAYMENT Rates and other payments are in Euros, so if you are transferring another currency please make sure that the sum amounts to the sum due in Euros. Payments may be made by bank transfer with commission and fees paid by the sender, or by personal cheque adding 1.00% to cover bank charges on a Euro cheque. If sending a Sterling cheque please add 1.50% to cover bank charges for conversion. DAMAGE DEPOSIT A deposit of €400.00 in cash is required on arrival to cover possible damage to the property and owners' possesions. This will be refunded by cheque within two weeks of departure less any agreed deductions. CLEANING AND LAUNDRY The cost of cleaning and laundry is included in the above weekly rates.
