Casa Guillermo is a traditional Spanish villa with large rooms and plenty of space. We have made it a real home-from-home. with tasteful fumishings,fixtures & fittings. There are three new bathrooms for this year.
There are two separate lounges(one with cable television), a dining room, vast gardens and several separate terraces.There is always a quiet corner to be found in which to relax. The tranquil grounds, terraces and pool are surrounded by trees and birdsong, affording total privacy. The larger than average accommodation makes this an ideal holiday property for larger families or maybe two families sharing.We offer discounts for smaller groups.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca (or The White Coast) stretches for 200 kilometres from Denia in the north to Torrevieja in the south on the eastern coast of Spain. A popular holiday destination for many years due to the 300 days of sunshine enjoyed each year. As well as the popular holiday destinations the area includes the city of Alicante with its Santa Barbara Castle, together with a wealth of inland villages and small towns steeped in history all worthy of a visit.
The area has vast areas of citrus fruit production and the almond blossom alone is worth a visit in the early part of the year. The terrain varies from mountain peaks to sandy beaches and rugged coves.
Javea / Portichol area
Javea ( or Xabia) itself is divided into three separate areas. The historic old town (or Pueblo) with narrow streets leading to the St Bartolome Church which doubled- up as a fort during the Spanish Civil War.This sector houses the Town Hall, Covered Market, Museum etc as well as many traditional local shops.
The Port area, home of the Javea Fishing Fleet is ,in contrast to the Pueblo, a more vibrant area with pavement cafes and restaurants. It has its own church Nuestra Senora de Loreta with its unique roof structured in the form of an up-turned boat hull.
The beach area known as The Arenal is a popular destination due to its Blue Flag status . It is a wide sandy area, safe for children and families The wide promenade is flanked with restaurants, bars and boutiques.On summer evenings this area comes to life with a selection of quiet bars or more lively clubs for the younger set. On the outskirts of Javea there is a selection of smaller bays for those seeking a quieter environment . There are two golf courses within the area, tennis courts and a variety of water sport activities along the sea front.
During the summer a ferry operates from Javea Port to Denia in the north and to several coastal resorts to the south.
There are numerous festivals throughout the year, with the main ones taking place during June in the Pueblo and in September in the Port area.
How to get there
Flights to Alicante or Valencia Airports are recommended. Most budget airlines fly to them daily from regional UK airports British Airways fly a daily scheduled service from London Gatwick to Alicante. We recommend www.javeacars.com for your car-rental. They offer collection facilities at both airports.

Further details indoors: The main living area is approached by steps leading from the long driveway. The main doors open into a newly double glazed lounge with ample leather seating,radio/cd player etc. Further doors give access to the main sitting room with further leather three-piece suite, Cable TV and a log-burning fireplace.Doors from here lead to a sunny rear patio ideal for outside dining . A stone archway leads to the dining room which houses a large table with seating for eight.
The kitchen opens from the dining room. There is a walk-in larder, fridge/freezer, new washing machine, new four-burner gas oven and hob, plus microwave, kettle, toaster etc. A corridor leads to the newly re-fitted family bathroom and three of the spacious double bedrooms .The end twin-bedded room has a new en-suite full bathroom. Internal stairs lead to the master suite on the first floor. The solarium is on this level and there is a further newly refitted en suite and dressing area. This room has a view across the bay of Javea.
The property benefits from newly installed double glazed windows and doors throughout. There are shutters and mosquito nets fitted to all bedroom windows. There is newly installed gas-central heating throughout. Electric fans are supplied in each bedroom.
Further details outdoors: Through tall wrought-iron gates, the villa is approached by a long driveway with parking for up to four cars. The property is surrounded by extensive gardens on all four sides. In the summer sun there is always a shady spot to be found.
The 12 meter pool with Roman steps and statues is located to the rear of the property set in the lawns with a terraced surround. There is a traditional barbecue house adjacent. Ample sun-loungers are provided around the pool. The gardens are maintained by a retained gardener, and the pool is cleaned under contract twice weekly in the summer season..

The property will be prepared for occupancy and supplied with linen & towels for the number of people in your party. Pool/Beach towels can be provided on request.
This is a "Families Only" property. We regret that is is unsuitable for groups of single persons. We can arrange for "Welcome Food Packs" to be provided for your arrival Please ask for details A cot is available on request.
Our care-takers are near-by should you encounter any problems during your stay.
Conditions
During July & August the minimum letting period is for two weeks., and from Saturday to Saturday. At other times change-over days can be flexible.
The villa will be available on arrival day from 16.00hrs onwards. On departure day the property must be vacated by 10.00hrs.
A refundable key and damage deposit of £250 will be payable. This is a non-smoking property.
