About the home

There is everything you require for a relaxing holiday, it is a new house with everything there right down to a tea strainer. You will want for nothing so there is no need to haul heavy luggage. The shops, beautiful beaches and restaurants are walking distance.

This is an ideal location for relaxing or the more adventurous. The beaches and coastal walks are fantastic, the sea warm and safe as well as clean, and the bars and restaurants superb. There are plenty of places to visit and as a bonus the house is situated away from the hustle and bustle even though it's a 10 minute walk.

Please be courteous at all times - there are permanent residents living there. Barbecues are not allowed. No smoking in the house. All breakages to be replaced or paid for. Have respect for this expensive furniture. No swimming before or after 10.

Conditions

Please give ample time for bookings to save any disappointment or embarrassment.
Long-term rental is not a problem whether in summer or winter.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The city of Javea lies about 80 km north east of Alicante, in between Denia and Altea. You can reach Javea via the road N 332, a wonderful road along the coastline of the Costa Blanca. If you have some time discover the beauty of the area via this road - you will love its views.

Javea between Denia in the north and the Cabo de Nao in the south is embedded into two bays - the Cabo San Antonio and the Cabo San Martin. The average Javea weather reaches temperatures of up to 40°C in summer, but not less than 10°C during winter time. Javea, the gem of Costa Blanca, has succeeded in preserving all the charms of the traditional Mediterranean small town.

Its privileged location surrounded by the sea, valleys and mountains, together with numerous coves and small pine woods plus the nature and marine reserves of Montgo, and Cabo San Antonio, give the area a unique beauty, and it also boast the best micro-climate in Europe.

The many activities on offer include golf, tennis and yacht clubs, horse riding and facilities for all types of water sports.

Terra Mitica

Terra Mitica is one of Europe’s most exciting theme parks and is Benidorm’s main tourist attraction. It has something for all age groups and for all “fear thresholds”.

Turn upside down at a hundred kilometres per hour in one of the park’s proposals that mix your emotions with the culture. Tizona shoots adrenaline in 35 seconds of nose-dive falls, 360° loops, corkscrew turns and Magnus Colossus the longest wooden rollercoaster in Europe. There are more than 50 daily shows that take place.

Benidorm Palace

This venue has a widely variety of on-stage performances including flamenco dancing, musicals and magic shows performed by illusionists. Feast your eyes on the first-class, fabulous dancers in exotic, majorly glam feathered costumes who’ll take your breath away.

You have the option of dining first with a four course meal or going later to enjoy the entertainment. Dinner commences soon after doors open at 8.30pm and show-time is 10.30pm.

Mundomar

This theme park is inhabited by aquatic animals such as dolphins, penguins and sea lions. There are regular dolphin shows throughout the afternoon which included audience participation. There are also sea lion and seal shows taking place. Also, the parrots inhabiting the park have their own show and there is a bat cave to visit.

The park also has its own galleon that allows you to view the animals from under water.

Away from the birds and animals there is a children’s theme park with slides and amusements as well as a selection of restaurants.

Aqualandia

Aqualandia consists of 20 rides and areas which has something for everyone from the adrenalin pumping “Splash” to the relaxing “Amazonas”. The park consists of assorted shuts, springboards, pools, rapids, waterfalls and black holes. There are also themed areas including Pistas Blandas, the Laguna, Niagra, the Big Bang and the Kamikaze. There are also more gentle options for younger children alongside a number of bars, shops and restaurants.

The near-by town of Denia

Denia has a number of beaches including Les Marines, Les Bovetes, Les Deveses and Els Palmars. The main beaches have clean and safe waters which are patrolled during the high seasons. They also have foot showers able for use and sunshades and sun beds available for hire. There are many beach bars selling refreshments from alcohol, soft drinks, ice cream and snacks. The beach front is lined with bars and restaurants.

There are also beach activities available on and off the water. These include; climbing frames, volley ball nets, sail boats, dinghies, snorkelling, pedaloes, fishing, scuba diving to explore the Mediterranean marine life. The ferry can be taken to one of the Balearis Islands where there are two sunken Roman vessels to explore of the coast of Mallorca.

Denia has hundreds of bars and restaurants, many with live entertainments such as fiestas.

Terra Natura

Therra Natura is described as a new generation wildlife park designed to allow contace with the animals as if there were no barriers. The park has more that 1500 animals and 200 species, 50 of which are in seriour danger of extinction.

There are many attractions at the park such as;

The Flying Fox – strap yourself into the 400 metre flying fox which zooms over the elephant plain giving views of the whole park. An unforgettable descent at over 50 kilometres an hour.

Venomous Creatures – a hugely varied range of species including tarantulas, reptiles and insects

Mascots – wild animals might pounce on you...to have their photo taken with you

The Flight of the Parrots/ Bird of Prey – free flight over the audience

Totanaca Dances – be entertained by the unusual and beautiful dances of this ancestral culture.


The Elephants’ Bath – you’ll be amazed watching our keepers working alongside the elephants as they put on a show that demonstrates their strength, intelligence and versatility.

Feeding the Animals – this allows you to witness animals including crocodiles and tigers feeding on their prey.

Up close with the animals – learn about the variety of animals during talks with their keepers.

Donkey rides – ride out in the countryside by the Greek ruins.

Restaurants;

Riolita – offers a wide variety of menu options and there are terrace tables viewing a waterfall emerging from the inside of a volcano.

La Selamandra de Jaspe – ideal for breakfast and sandwiches.

Hire a car before you go. Eurocar is as good as anyone pick it up from airport it is approx 1/ and half hour drive
