The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Javea is a very peaceful Area of North Costa Blanca situated midway between the airports of Alicante and Valencia The coastline has many scenic rocky coves, wonderful beaches and dramatic cliffs.

Javea consists of 3 separate areas, the old town. Port & Arenal beach area.The town is a typical old Spanish town with narrow streets & squares. A beautiful church & pavement eating places. The Port, with a fish market and promenade, lots of eating places along the promenade with outside seating facing the sea view.

Within 30 minutes drive there is the lively resort of Bendorm with many theme parks including Terra Mitica, Aqualandia water park with super-slides and Mundomar animal park.

Javea / Montgo Toscamar area

The villa is set on the slopes of the Montgo mountain . The valley is abundant with Orange, Lemon, Olive and Almond trees and is particularly stunning in early spring when the Almond trees are in blossom

For those more energetic guests there is a 2 hours steady climb which will take you to the top of the mountain, with fantastic views to Denia and Javea and on a clear day you can see Ibiza island. Ferries leave Denia harbour daily for the short crossings to Ibiza and Majorca.

Within 5 mins drive, The Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa is one of the most luxurious hotels in Alicante. It provides a world class spa with the latest treatments and a fitness centre. There's a choice of restaurants and bars and you must try a cocktail in the lounge bar overlooking the pool. On Sunday, the Champagne Sunday Brunch is a special treat not to be missed.

Javea is divided into 3 areas. The old town has a weekly market where you can enjoy the hustle of the locals or wander round the traditional cobbled streets and enjoy a drink in one of the tapas bars. There is usually a wedding at the pretty church at weekends , a spectacle to be seen!
The old town leads into Javea Port which has lots of nice shops and some great restaurants for every palate and pocket. Walk down to the fishing port and watch the boats come in or sit in one of the sea front cafes.
The main sandy beach is called Arenal with a long promenade flanked with numerous cafes and restaurants and gift shops. There are award winning nightclubs here too so this area is lively until the very small hours.

Close by are many interesting towns & villages including the historic cliff top castle at Guadalest built by the Moors around 300BC. Most of the local towns & villages have a weekly market and fiestas (festivals) throughout the year. Karting & quad-biking are available locally. Snorkelling and scuba, and various boat trips are available off the coast of Denia & Javea.

Ondara shopping mall is within 15mins drive, a modern air conditioned 2 storey indoor complex of high quality shops, a bowling alley, cinema and lots of restaurants including an American Diner and traditional Spanish tapas bar.

There are numerous supermarkets in the area including Mercadona, Mas Y Mas, Lydl and a local supermarket on Montgo.

The villa has an elegant but comfortable ambience. Accessed by electric gate entry system there are steps down to the villa which has 3 spacious bedrooms with fitted wardrobes,all have designer bathrooms with the ultimate in walkin showers.The large open plan living area is divided into cosy lounge with fireplace, smart dining area and modern breakfast kitchen with granite worktops, dishwasher,microwave and huge American Fridge and separate tall freezer. There is a separate Utility Room with washing machine,butlers sink .
For the cooler winter months there is underfloor heating.
French doors from the living area lead you to a large shaded terrace with a few steps down to the infinity pool and sun loungers. The landscaped grounds have an abundance of fruit trees so you can pick your own lemon for that pre dinner gin and tonic. We have wi-fi internet so bring along your laptop.All 3 bedrooms have air-con ans the main living area.
