Villa Paraiso is a 6 bedroom split level private Spanish villa in an elevated position in a very quiet and tranquil area of Granadella, Javea. It has both sea and inland views and is just a 5 minute drive to the quaint and secluded bay of Granadella and 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Javea, Costa Blanca, Spain. Its gardens are laid to lawn shaded by pine trees and it has a south facing patio. To the rear is the pool and barbeque which looks over the mountainous region of the Montgo; the famous landmark of the area.
The villa is open plan with a tosca stone fireplace in the lounge, satellite TV and surround sound DVD system (for both music and film entertainment). There is a circular dining room and enclosed naya. The whole area is spacious with wooden beams, pillars and arches throughout which create a typical Spanish ambience to the property.
There are interior steps which lead down to a further 3 bedrooms and shower room with access to the private pool terrace. Internal stairs also lead upstairs to another bedroom with separate kitchen and lounge area with doors leading out to the upper balcony which surrounds the south side of the house and boasts marvellous sea views.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Javea has been voted 'environmentally near perfect' by the World Health Organisation and boasts 320 days of sunshine a year! Javea is situated on the most easterly point of mainland Spain at the northern end of the Costa Blanca, approximately 100kms from Valencia and 90 kms from Alicante - Valencia with its historic buildings, museums and wonderful shopping centres is only 1 hour away. The coastline has scenic rocky coves, wonderful beaches and dramatic cliffs.
For the younger members of your party, Benidorm`s Terra Mitica (40 mins away) theme park is a must. You will also find Aqualandia and Mundomar here.
At Gata de Gorgos (8km) you will find what the local craft industries have to offer - palm leaf, rattan and wickerwork articles.
Javea / Granadella area
Javea can be divided into three main areas - the Old Town, the Port and the Arenal. * Old Town This is the ancient town centre steeped in medieval history which has largely been preserved throughout the centuries. Here you can wander through the maze of narrow streets and small plazas. The Gothic fortified church of San Bartolome dominates the centre of the town. This building dates back to the 15th century, half religious half military. At the side of the church is a beautiful Neo Gothic building which houses the indoor market where you can buy local fresh produce daily. The colourful outdoor market takes place every Thursday in the market place. * The Port This was originally a fishing community but has now become one of the main tourist centres of the town. Here amongst the modern buildings you will find the ancient quarters of narrow streets with the simple whitewashed fishermen's houses. It is a lively bustling area with many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Just the place to sit and sample the local wines whilst watching the fishing boats bringing in the day's catch. From the heart of the port rises the majestic structure of the church of Our Lady of Loreto with a roof which imitates the hull of a ship. The modern Nautical Club at the marina has facilities for all forms of water sports. * The Arenal Javea`s blue flag beach where the shore gently slopes into the warm sea. The promenade has a number of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants providing a variety of food to suit all tastes. During the evening in the Summer months, you will find various stalls here selling a variety of handmade crafts. Many of the bars have live music and there are several discotheques for those who like to dance the night away. There are also several scenic coves nearby. Granadella with its crystal clear waters is a favourite for scuba diving and snorkelling as is Portichol. There is even a naturist beach at Ambolo.
Activities Nearly every kind of water sport is catered for in Javea, and for those who don't want to get their feet wet there is golf, bowls, tennis, cycling, horse riding and hiking to name but a few.
Tourist Offices There are three - one in each area of Javea, will have details of nearby places of interest. Be sure to check if there are any fiestas taking place during your stay as these are always well worth a visit.

How to get there
Alicante airport is 90km away and Valencia airport 115km. Flight time is approximately 2 hours 20 minutes. Collection to and from the airport can be arranged. Car hire is advisable and we are happy to arrange this for you.

Preferred Changeover Day is Saturday. Cots and highchairs are available to hire on request. Beach towels are not included. The villa can be extended into a 7 bedroom property (sleeping 14 guests) by converting the upper lounge into a bedroom. Extra beds are available at £95 per week per person per week on request.
