Further details indoors:
Andrea is a three bedroom villa, on three levels, unfortunately not suitable for families with toddlers due to the many steps in the villa.
Situated on the Cuesta San Antonio, above Javea Port, entrance to Andrea is down steps from the car port to a pretty open terrace equipped with table and chairs. From here the front door leads in to a spacious entrance hall off which are the lounge/dining room and kitchen, and the master bedroom.
The lounge is comfortably furnished and has a huge picture window offering fantastic views across Javea bay to Cabo Negro in the distance. There is a television, offering programmes in Spanish, French with the possibility of putting some films, serials, documentaries in to English .
A door leads out to a large partially covered terrace offering quite stunning views. This is furnished with a table and chairs and we are sure it is where guests will enjoy their meals, gazing at the fantastic views. It will be a fantastic spot from which to enjoy the fireworks from the Port on 8th September!
The small, well equipped kitchen, is off the dining area. The master bedroom suite is also on this level, and comprises a double bedded room and shower room, with separate wc off the entrance hall. Double doors lead from the bedroom out to the terrace.
Downstairs are the other two (twin bedded) rooms and a family shower room. Both bedrooms have doors with mosquito nets and blinds for security. These lead out to the lower terrace and swimming pool and offer stunning views of the bay.
Further details outdoors:
The big pool has a paved surround, and is not overtly overlooked. There are plenty of sun loungers and a table and chairs by the pool. A few steps up from the covered terrace is the barbecue area, with a purpose built barbecue casita and paved terrace with table and chairs.
The garden around the villa is extensive, featuring many Mediterranean plants and shrubs. Apart from the obvious attraction of the wonderful views of Javea and the bay, and the relative privacy of the pool area, Andrea has the added advantage of being situated close to shops, restaurants and the beach, all of which are within walking distance (although the return journey is up a steep hill! - taxis are available from the Port).

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And more locally, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!
The Javea / Javea Port area
Jávea has long been the destination of choice for discerning visitors who are not interested in mass-market resorts. Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Each year Jávea celebrates several fiestas. Ones not to be missed are San Juan, June 18th to 24th, being the main fiesta of the 'old town'. The last night boasts a terrific firework display and the burning of a 'falla'. During July there is the colourful Moors and Christians festival and 1st to 8th September is the Virgen de Loreto, port fiestas. Not to be missed is the last night, 8th September, the firework display over the fishing port is spectacular. Andrea is in a privileged position overlooking the fishing port - see this spectacle from the comfort of your own villa!
