Villa / 3 bedrooms / sleeps 7
The Villa is on the lower slopes of Montgo Mountain, Javea, within walking distance of the Supermarket La Ermita.
This secluded luxurious South Facing villa is a totally private home, not just a letting property - its furnishings & equipment reflect that. The plot is 2400sq m giving plenty of "children" space all round & plenty of shaded parking. The villa is very large & airy with a huge kitchen with absolutely everything in it, it has a large 30' x 20' conservatory & a large "extra" room - both these rooms overlook the pool. Two bedrooms are en suite with double beds, one a 6' the other 4'6' both English beds. The 3rd bedroom has twin single beds & a bathroom. ALL BEDROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. There is also a "study" without doors which has an additional single bed in it ( or could have a cot or two) There is a further toilet & basin near to the pool. All mod cons are in situ, dishwasher, washing m/c, English gas cooker, microwave, 5Mb WiFi & a telephone, Satellite TV, 2.4m dish, separate portable TV, & a relay onto another 26" TV, 2 DVD machines! The lounge is air conditioned plus ceiling fans in all 3 bedrooms etc etc. The huge 12m x 6m swimming pool is accessible from the house by a slope OR steps. The pool is now "security" fenced with attractive wrought iron gates. (to keep children "in" or "out" as required.) There is space all round the pool with a large shaded area & 6 sunbeds have comfy cushions as well as plenty of tables & chairs & a BBQ. We provide a huge beach towel per person. The villa is a home for 8 months & only available in the summertime when the owners are away.

|Further details indoors|
The house is furnished to a high standard as we live here 8 months of the year.
The Conservatory (seen in picture) is very large, can seat 20 to dine (!) and overlooks the pool.
The kitchen is vast with everything in it.
There is ample space for cots in the "music room". Just ask for highchairs and proper nearly new wooden cots. (There is also a travelling cot for your use as we thought you might like to sit by the pool with your child asleep near you rather than in the villa)
The music room/study also overlooks the pool & gives access to it (lockable).
We have plenty of "run about" space for active children & a football net.
N.B. do not use your Sat Nav when approaching the house. Use your eyes. Our Sign THE CLARKS is right alongside the supermarket! Up the road, second on the left past a new & unfinished house (nice & quiet)
|Further details outdoors|
The plot is 2400sq metres giving absolute privacy. The pool area is surrounded by walls on all 3 sides & the house on the other side. The pool can be accessed via a slope for the disabled (or young)(or when carrying a tray) & by steps.
Children can be locked into the house at night preventing them from accessing the pool alone & the pool area is also secured with wrought iron lockable gates.
There are 6 sun-loungers with removable full length cushions, plenty of tables and chairs (with comfy cushions) around the pool and a large shaded area at the deep end.
There is a toilet & basin in a bathroom near the pool.
We provide a Football Goal in the Orchard!
For your cars, we provide a large shaded area.
We include a huge beach towel per person to take to the beach!
We also give you a dishwasher tab a day, washing liquid for the washing machine & rubbish bags! The bins are at the end of the road.
The small supermarket is at the end of the road. Just far enough for you not to hear it.
We do not take pets and smoking only outside please.
We supply plenty of towels. These are laundered weekly.
In particular we supply a large soft Beach Towel for the duration of your stay.
You may wash these beach towels as necessary in the washing machine provided.
We also supply a tab a day for the dishwasher plus washing liquid for clothes washing plus a rubbish bag a day plus olive oil, salt & pepper in the kitchen.
The lounge & all 3 bedrooms are air conditioned.
About this location
The Valenciana region
A benign climate, a fertile land and a beautiful sea seem to have worked wonders on local character. People in In Javea are easy-going, openhearted and hospitable, and locals seem to have time enough for work without forsaking their lesuree and festivities. Their motives for creating a stir are manifold: a long history, a feel for the religious and a penchant for pageantry. From 28th to May 3rd, Jesus the Nazarene must be honoured, and form September 1st to 8th the patroness Our Lady of Loreto is the object of devotion. On Midsummer Night, the entire town is bathes in fireworks and colour to welcome the summer with the Foqueres de Sant Joan, and the Second fortnight of July is another occasion for feasting, dancing and parading to the gunpowder and music with the feast of the Moors and Christians. During the rest of the year, there are other lesser occasions for merrymaking, celebrations and sports competitions (bicycle, beach-volleyball, sailing ...) to keep the Mediterranean spirit on the move.
There are more recorded hours of sunshine per year on this little point of land than in any other place in Spain
Javea has long been called the "Dawn of Spain", because it occupies a far point of land looking eastward over the Mediterranean Sea. The rising sun’s path catches variously the three headlands. One day San Antonio, another day San Martin, or Cabo de la Nao sees the first golden rays. But always day dawns over that blue sea, enriching the life of the old Spanish fishing community.
There is a sense of contentment, which wells up and exists just under the surface here. This is partly because Javea continues to be a working port and not just a tourist mecca; but also because it is a place where people from many parts of northern Europe come to live permanently, not just a few weeks a year.
There is much history here, with the influence of the Moors much in evidence, with perhaps the ancient San Bartolome Church containing the soul of the village. One of its inner walls was there in 1244 when King Jaime El Conquistador defeated the Moors here, whilst the outside wall is pockmarked by fusillades of the Civil war seven centuries later.
Then there are the wonderfully fresh fruit and vegetables, the wine of all qualities and prices, the incredible almond blossom in the early spring, the outside markets, the fields of orange trees, literally hundreds of restaurants (where to pay more than a £10 a head is a special occasion) and then of course always the clear clear air.
Clubs, restaurants, the Parador, the Javea Golf Course, and our Club Nautico do all they can to make us known; as does the annual Tourist Feria. The shooting range on La Plana, riding stables, tennis courts, cricket pitch, bowling clubs, undersea diving facilities – exist for the pleasure and profit of all. Many local clubs exist and walking in the area is a favourite past-time.

"Extremely spacious property with magnificent 12 x 6m pool we didn't want to leave!"
If you are looking for a modern design, high spec villa this is probably not the one for you. If on the other hand you are happy with more traditional, lived-in decor you will not be disappointed wit… More
