The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Buganvilla is located in the heart of the Costa Blanca - otherwise known as "White Coast" famous for its endless miles of beautiful sandy beaches. Sheltered by the peninsulas of Cap La Nao and Cap San Antonio, Jávia offers nature and unspoilt environments of the Montgó Natural Park & unforgettable Montgó mountain (753 m).

Benidorm - Defined by four miles of stunning clean sandy beaches, there’s a lot more to Benidorm than the high rise hotels and it’s done much to clean up its act in recent years. High summer on Levante Beach brings out more than 5,000 sun loungers for hire, and the beach also offers a ‘wet playground’ out at sea with swinging bridges, diving boards, rafts and slides. Poniente Beach is closer to Benidorm’s old town and is a little more laid back than Levante. As you’d expect, the beaches in the area are well kept and back on to promenades which are packed with shops, restaurants and bars. The old town is also worth a visit, with its cobbled streets, old buildings and great eateries – the short covered street of Santo Domingo is known locally as Tapas Alley.

Just north of Javea, Denia is a fairly large city which can get busy during the summer months. It has some great shopping opportunities – it’s famous for its bakeries and confectioners – and there are plenty of wide, tree-lined streets offering all kinds of shops. Denia is home to some breathtaking scenery as it backs onto the Montgo National Park, and an imposing castle nestles on a hill in the centre of town which is good for sightseeing.

L'Arenal beach is a short 5 minute drive from Buganvilia. The beach is a heaven for young familes, due to its blueflag status, full-time lifeguards, and clear and warm waters surrounding the bay, making for a safe and enjoyable experience. For older families, volley ball nets, water sports and a huge variety of restaurants, bars and clubs surround the beach.


Javea area

The town has a maze of streets , with lots of charming little shops and houses adorned with local stone. Javea’s old town is a picturesque collection of narrow winding streets that run down from the fortified church of St Bartholomew, local food markets, and ancient Moorish-style buildings. Set back from the port area, the old town is worth visiting if you want to get a feel for the ‘real’ Javea.

The old town and port area regularly host a number of traditional Spanish fiestas, cultural carnivals and religious festivals – the most notable of these is probably the fiesta of the Moors and Christians, which involves four days of dressing up, gun fire, battle re-enactments and a paella cooking contest, along with plenty of fireworks. You can find out more about the town’s fiestas at the local tourist information centres.

You can fly directly to the Costa Blanca from around 25 UK airports, which will take you to Alicante airport (south of Javea) or Valencia airport (north of Javea). Both Alicante and Valencia offer excellent transport links to Buganvilla, and take about an hour by car from either airport.

Because of the location of Buganvilla and the number of attractions in the surrounding areas, we recommend that you hire a car for your the duration of your holiday.

Buganvilla has three double bedrooms, one of which has en-suite facilities, a large master bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen together with breakfast bar overlooking the beautiful rear garden and pool, and stunning open lounge and dining area with its high beamed ceilings and comfortable furnishings.

Two outdoor terraces located to the front and rear of the property provide dining areas, barbecue facilities and comfortable sun loungers. In addition, the villa boasts landscaped gardens, immaculate lawns and a private pool, as well as a covered car port, secure entry, shuttered windows and alarm system.

An English speaking representative will be available to guests during their stay, should this be required.

The villa will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. Maid service can be arranged. Each bedroom will be made up in advance of your arrival with beds made and towels available (plus extra beach towels available in cupboard).

1. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, unless otherwise agreed.
2. A non-refundable reservation fee of 25% of total charge is required at time of booking.
3. The remaining balance must be paid within 4 weeks of date of arrival.
4. If booking within 4 weeks of arrival, the total balance must be paid.
5. A £250 refundable damage deposit is required and should be paid when paying off the balance. An inspection on final day of occupancy will take place, with the damage deposit being returned within 2 weeks of departure, if applicable.
6. The price of bookings for more than 4 weeks are negotiable.
