If you are looking for a great holiday apartment this is it!. Fantastic location, modern, ground floor, lovely patio, great views over the pool, south facing and 5 mins walk from the port . Situated in a popular complex this apartment is suitable for all groups ranging from a family with small children to 5 adults. The main living area is open plan. The lounge/dining/kitchen area has a large corner sofa (seats 6/7), extending dining table including 5 chairs and a stoke adjustable wooden highchair (5 point harness available on request). There is an LCD TV, dvd player, speakers to plug in an ipod and cd player/radio. The kitchen is open to the main dining area via a low level wall making the whole apartment dual aspect and very light and airy. Kitchen features oven, extractor, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, expresso machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, blender and scales. Plastic cutlery, plates and beakers are provided for smaller children. The apartment is fully air conditioned and is fitted with underfloor heating making it ideal all year round. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize pocket sprung matress and ample storage for clothing alongside an ensuite bathroom with bath, over shower, bidet, sink and toilet. Bedroom 2 has one single bed (child guard available), a pair of adult bunk beds, single wardrobe hanging space, tv with built in DVD player and a chest of drawers. There is also a collapsible travel cot with linen available on request. The family bathroom has a large shower, sink and toilet. The patio area is accessed via full width sliding doors (view of the pool from inside and out) and includes a large, covered seating area, complete with lighting and wall heater (for chilly winter evenings), leading to an enclosed, secure, terrace with established herb planters and mood lighting. A full set of polyrattan outdoor furniture seating 7, plus two sunbathing recliners, coffee table and overhead retractable sun shade makes this area a delightful place to sit in the heat of the day and gentle warmth of the evening. Privacy to both sides of the terrace is provided by solid fencing whilst the view out on to the pool is kept clear making it easy to keep an eye on your children. The communal pool area is accessed via 3 steps and a lockable gate and is about 5 metres from the property. The gardens are imaculately maintained and mostly laid to lawn.
Within the communal area is a small, lawned, childrens playground (including swings, seesaw and climbing frame), a 20 metre oval pool with varying depth, a small, shallow childrens pool, jacuzzi, paddle courts, sauna, shower and toilet block. You can even book a massage! The whole complex is fully secured and gated making it very safe for children and consequently relaxing and stressfree for parents! Beach towels are provided, which we ask you to wash and hang on the airers provided before you leave.
As well as these communal entertainments there are also 2 tennis raquets, 2 paddle bats, balls, several pairs of flippers and snorkels, various dvds, puzzles and games provided, as well as a Spanish guitar if you're feeling musical!
Javea itself is an excellent holiday destination with something for all tastes. Situated on the coast, approximatley 1.5 hours from both Alicante and Valencia airports, Javea rests under the watchful eye of the magnificent nearby mountain Montgo, which is clearly visible from the communal gardens of the complex. Jardines del Puerto sits in the Port area of this small town and the many shops, bars and restaurants in the working port are a mere 5 minutes walk away - you can wander down to watch the boats come in, unload their catch and then buy it fresh from the onsite fish merchant. As well as having a thriving collection of shops and bars the port area also features a small cinema, a lovely pebbly beach and paved esplanade. A kilometer along the sea front, past beach bars and vast numbers of rock pools (ideal for crabbing and beach picnics/bbqs) is the expansive sandy beach of the Arenal area. Here too, you will find, beach volleyball courts, numerous climbing frames, pedalo, jetski and windsurfing hire, many sea front restaurants, bars and shops, not to mention artisan craft stalls in the evening during peak season. Completing the triangle, one kilometre inland is the beautiful Old Town area, with historic church, indoor market, bars, shops and the weekly food, clothing and craft market.

The Valenciana region
Javea is on the warm eastern shore of the Med, facing towards Ibiza and Mallorca, and enjoys a world-class climate. A stunning mountain, shaped exactly like a resting elephant (the Montgo) watches over the town and creates a micro climate which means that Javea is often warmer and drier than the rest of the coast. It is one of the most attractive places in Spain, with beautifully maintained esplanades, a blue flag clean beach and where high rise building has been prevented so that character and charm dominate.

Alongside the acitivities of the town itself, there are many other sites to visit, including Isberts Folly, the Falls Of Algar, (a collection of natural, mountain fed streams and pools popular with locals and holiday makers alike). There is also Benidorm within an hour, where you can visit the local theme parks - Terra Mitica and Aqualandia.
. Nearby Denia, access port to Mallorca and Ibiza, can also be reached via a daily boatride along the coast.
Not far from the foothills of the Sierra Bernia mountain range there are plenty of spectacular routes to cycle, both on road and mountain bikes, with several climbs popular with professional cycle teams such as Rabobank, Sky and Astana. There are a number of hire shops in Javea where it is possible to rent a bike for a day or week, one of which is within a 5 minute walk of the apartment complex.

"Great apartment, lovely complex, fantastic location... i have re-booked for next year!!!"
Over the last 10 years my wife, children and I have stayed in many different apartments in Javea. This is probably the best apartment we have stayed in on a lovely complex with a short walk to the lovely Port of Javea and 5 minutes drive from the beautiful Arenal beach. The apartment has a really lovely covered seating area leading to a lovely patio area and a gate directly out the pool and well kept garden area. The inside is nicely furnished with modern facilities and provides clean and attractive accommodation. All the mod cons are provided and we were so pleased with the accommodation, complex and location we have booked for next year... highly recommended.

Delighted you had a good time and that the apartment was to your liking. I completley understand about the keycard system, we haven't experienced it ourselves personally but it sounds somewhat like overkill. Unfortunatley, as non-resident owners we don't have much say in the daily running of the place. Shocking news about the pool incident but some people are less than hygeinic. To my knowledge it is cleaned every Thursday morning, early, about 8ish and has been since the pool was built in 2004 with no cleanliness issues so, despite the odd accident, I can aasure you it is well maintained.

Thank you also for drawing our attention to the need for a second set of keys, this is something we thought we had instructed our agents to provide but that message has clearly been miscommunicated, I will get to the bottom of it. We are currently considering installing wifi, though it is notoriously unreliable in Javea, so if you chose to stay with us again this will hopefully not be an issue.

"Perfect what more could you ask for."
This apartment was lovely from the time you step through the door, easy to find, fantastic in side and out to how close a walk to the port, what more do you need.
As the time of year it was a little cold to use the pool but that didnt stop them. While i sat and soaked up the sun on the loungers. Everything you need is in the apartment, but with all the great resturants and bars so close at hand. Brilliant area for exploring Javea and surrounding areas. I could not recomment this apartment highly enough.
Delighted you enjoyed your stay. If you ever make it back to this part of the world I hope you will consider using our apartment again.

"Superb Apartment and Brilliant Location"
We stayed here in July 2013 with my wife and two teenage kids (girl 14 and boy 16). The apartment was absolutely excellent and more than enough space for us all. Located on the ground floor, it has a small garden/patio area which overlooks the pool and a gate means trips for a swim are really easy. Although our kids are older, this would be great with parents of younger kids that need to keep an eye on them in the pool.
The development is arranged in a large square around the pool and this apartment (IMO) is the best location, giving sun and shade at the point you want them.
I have stayed at two other apartments in the same development and this one is the best finished and decorated by far. Very practical for lazy days by the pool and balmy nights with a glass of wine.
Javea itself has everything, beach, café culture, fishing harbour and boutique shops, all of which are within a very short walk.
We've been before and will definitely go again and can recommend this apartment highly.
