Home description

This new and well furnished (and electrically heated) apartment consists of 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin), each with en suite shower room, and is situated at the ground floor level of a private villa, in a tranquil residential area on the pine covered slopes of Javea Bay. There is a magnificent poolside palm tree providing natural shade and also beside the pool (approximately 7m) is a fully equipped BBQ area with table, sun loungers and sun shade. Digital cable TV is provided (BBC1, BBC2, ITV1,C4,C5, Sky News, Sky Sports 1 - 3, 2 Sky Movie channels and many more, plus various radio stations). Secure and gated off-road parking. Exclusive use of private pool. The apartment is cleaned thoroughly before each new arrival. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.

The property is situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in the Adsubia area, which consists of private villas. The owners occupy the upper level of the villa. The villa is about 1.5km from the main sandy beach area of the Arenal (5 minutes by car or a 20 minute walk). Guests will be far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to enjoy all that is on offer by the many international restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Javea is situated on the coastline of the Costa Blanca which is made up of sandy beaches and rocky coves. Other great beaches include the Grandella and Cala Blanca which are perfect for snorkelling and rock pool exploration. Overlooking the whole town is the mountain known as "Montgo". This is an area of natural beauty where you can walk along the pathway which climbs the mountain and take in fantastic views across Javea, Denia and on a clear day, Ibiza. Valencia lies approximately one hour's drive north on the motorway. Here there are many tourist attractions, amongst others the Cathedral and the City of Arts and Sciences housing the new Oceanographic Park where you will find 500 different varieties of fish. Terra Mitica Theme Park and Mundamar Sea World are about 35 minutes away on the motorway. A 30 minute drive will take you to the Jalon Valley. Drive south along the coast road to Calpe which is known for its sea-food restaurants. Inland is the mountain town of Guadalest and the Fonts de'Algar best known for its waterfalls and freshwater pools.


Javea / Adsubia area

Javea is split into three parts and is a beautiful seaside town, great for family holidays. The ARENAL is best known for its clean "Blue Flag" sandy beach, with palm trees providing natural shade. Also on the beach are children's play equipment and volley ball areas. There are numerous international bars and restaurants to choose from. The PORT is a working fishing harbour with yacht club and waterside restaurants. The OLD TOWN is the heart of Javea providing a traditional Spanish atmosphere especially during fiesta times and carnivals with their elaborate firework displays. There is an open-air market held every Thursday.

Linen and towels are included in the rental and there is no extra charge for laundry of linen and towels, final cleaning and heating in the winter. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required on confirmation of the booking. A refundable breakages deposit of between GB Pds 100 and GB Pds 200 (depending on length of stay) is required and payable with the full rental balance six weeks prior to arrival.
