The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
Javea is in the north of Alicante province, between Cabo San Antonio and Cabo La Nao. 1 hour drive north of Alicante airport and 1 hour south of Valencia airport. The town comprises three main areas - the old town, the fishing harbour/port and the Arenal. The wooded hills behind the beach and town hide the beautiful residential areas. In 1986 the World Health Organisation recommended the climate in this area as one of the most equitable in the world - neither too hot in the summer nor too cold in the winter. Javea enjoys a typical subtropical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in the summer and mild temperatures in the winter. The region averages about 3,000 hours of sunshine per year (about 325 days per year) and the average temperature is more than 20 degrees Centigrade. About 35 minutes away by car you have the fantastic Spanish theme park called Terra Mitica which is well worth a visit boasting the largest wooden roller coaster in Europe and numerous themed rides. You also have Aqualandia Water Theme Park and Mundomar Animal and Sea World - all great places to visit for adults and children alike which is just a 40 minute car ride away.
The Arenal beach area of Javea, where our apartment is located, is a most picturesque and palmed bay and is a haven for beach lovers with its wide golden sand and safe water for bathing. It has many restaurants, bars and shops and is the hub for night life in the area. Just a 5 minute car ride or catch the holiday tram along the seafront or a 25 minute walk, is the traditional and still working fishing port where you can watch the boats and yachts coming and going over a chilled beer from one of the many bars . This area also has numerous shops and boutiques. You then have the Old Town, which is, located inland above the Port, again just 10 minutes by car. Here you find the historic medieval town and beautiful church in the centre. The town also holds a weekly local market with numerous traditonal stalls and where you can buy wonderful fresh produce

"Lovely Apartment - Excellent Location"
This is the second time we have stayed at Sandy and Barry's apartment. The Apartment had everything you needed during your stay. Everyone we met in the apartment complex was very friendly and the pool was very inviting. The Apartment is also well located for the bars and restaurants on the Arenal beach. No car required! We also used the Wi-Fi facility which we found very easy to get connected to. Sandy has been helpful and quick in responding to emails from start to finish. Thank you for a lovely time. We will be re-visiting soon!

"Lovely stay in this clean comfortable apartment"
We loved our stay in Sandy's apartment, it was clean comfortable and we can't wait to come back, there was a problem with the tv but not the fault of owner and someone did call round to keep us informed about it.

I'm sorry about the TV reception, it is a problem in the whole area, we have been told as the signal is weak, but it is being rectified now with a booster.

"Perfect family accomodation , would book again"
The apartment was perfect for us travelling with family, comfortable and perfectly situated for both beach , supermarket and restaurants under a 5 minute walk, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet you really do not need a car unless you want to do sight seeing further afield. Have already recommended to family and friends and will try to book it whenever we return to area.

"This apartment ticks every box."
We have visited Javea several times and normally stay in a villa,but wanted something closer to the beach for my wife and three children ,21 18 and 16.
This was the perfect answer,it had everything you needed for a relaxing stress free holiday.The location was great,a short stroll to the bars and the beach.The rooms were clean and modern.The air conditioning was working perfectly.The top terrace BBQ with a sink next to it was a real bonus.All the appliances in the kitchen were easy to use.The pool was beautiful.
All I can say is,dont waste hours on the internet looking for places to stay,book here and you wont be disappointed.
Sandy and Barry (The owners) could not have been more helpful,thank you.

This is the second time that we have stayed in this apartment and have loved every minute of it. The apartment is spacious with good air conditioning and clean.
Nothing is too much trouble for the owners whilst there the dishwasher was leaking someone was sent around straight away and when the fault could not be fixed a new appliance was purchased.
The apartment block is clean and friendly with a lovely pool, it is situated a short distance from the beach and strip of restaurants and bars. It is quiet and peaceful without being miles out of the way. I would highly recommend this apartment and Javea its a holiday to remember.

Great location,great apartment and great communication with the owners.......very helpful and always there to answer any queries......apartment spacious and everything you could want is available there........near to beach and bars what more could you want?....also a lovley walk to the port where you can get lovely food and views...
