Casa Buenavista is a luxury apartment on the thrid floor of a prestigious new development in the town of Pedreguer but within easy reach of the coast and the La Sella championship golf course. The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca enjoys more than 2,800 hours of sunshine throughout the year and an average annual temperature of 19.3° C, the perfect microclimate for ideal year-round living conditions. Pedreguer is a lovely cosmopolitan town between Javea and Denia whose outstanding beaches are a 15 minute car drive away. There are many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance and the 5 star Marriott hotel complex (with onsite spa facilities) adjacent to the 18 hole par 72 La Sella golf course is only a short drive. The marvellous range of facilities offered makes this a perfect locale for families, golfers and non-golfers alike.
Javea / La Sella area
Javea and Denia
Javea has long been a favourite with discriminating holiday makers, seeking its mild climate, beautiful coastline and dramatic hinterland. Set in an area covering the provinces of Alicante to Valencia, where pale sandy beaches give way to fragrant orange groves, almond trees and vineyards, backed by stunning mountain scenery. Climatically it is reputed amongst the healthiest in Spain with lots of sunshine, mild temperatures and low humidity.
Dénia is a coastal city located to the north of the province of Alicante and has a 20-kilometre coastline, made of small, beautiful coves. To the north there are the fine sandy beaches of Les Marines and Les Bovetes and the shingle beaches of Les Deveses and L' Almadrava beaches, which are craggy and rocky; to the south is the Les Rotes beach. Though the beaches are long, they are not enormous and generally appeal to family-type tourism. A picturesque town 15 minutes drive from the villa, Javea has much to offer. Spread out over a large area, there are coves to discover, cultural and historical sites and wonderful walks. The town is divided into three distinct sections. There is the old town, with its narrow cobbled streets and its monuments of Spanish history and culture. The port area is still a working fishing port and is a delightful place to visit with its mixture of fish markets and seafront bars and cafes.
Local Tourist Attractions
Benidorm is 45 minutes drive away from the villa. This well known resort offers attractions such as Aqualandia Waterpark, Terra Mittica Theme Park and Mundomar Exotic Sealife Park. The terrain of the Montgo and Jalon valleys provide the perfect environment for mountain biking and walking. The stunning waterfalls at the Fonts d'Algar are a 30 minute drive from the villa. The area also has a superb camp site and several restaurants and cafes. Valencia is an hour away by car or an hour and half by train from Gandia (30 minutes from the villa). Enjoy a day of shopping around the variety of markets and boutiques or simply spend the day exploring the city and its museums. Ibiza and Majorca are both just a short ferry ride away with crossings leaving Denia harbour daily.
Golfing Information
In addition to the nearby Olazabal designed excellent La Sella championship course there are a number of other superb courses in the area - ranging from the Ballesteros designed championship course at Oliva Nova (with a golf academy) to a selection of 9 hole courses at Javea, Calpe Club de Ifach and Altea Don Cayo. Further afield there are the superb Levante and Executive championship courses at Benidorm. Golf packages or tee times can be arranged in advance when booking or by email at least four weeks before the start of the rental booking.
Tennis
Tennis Players can benefit from the top-rated tennis program participating in the weekly tennis courses for all levels with Luis Wyche and Kurt Nigg. The Tennis Centre offers 5 clay courts and 3 sand filled synthetic grass courts.
Horse Riding
There are two horse riding stables in the Javea area; these are 'Centro Hipico Javea' and 'Escuela de Equitacion La Sella.' Horse-Riding is a great way to explore the countryside
