The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca extends along that section of the Mediterranean coast which corresponds to the province of Alicante. To the North, a curtain of mountains runs parallel to the sea, descending at times to form cliffs; to the South, a vast plain of sand patches, palm trees and salt deposits make up the backdrop for the beaches.
Temperatures are usually warm with the annual average a little higher than 18ºC. However this can vary between seasons from a very warm 30º-35ºC during July and August to a milder 15º-20ºC in those so called winter months. Rain is of course very scarce.
Javea / Rafalet area
Javea is one of the most popular resorts of Costa Blanca and lies near the Montgo Mountain.
Javea's most pretty attractions are its gothic buildings such as the gothic church of San Bartolome and its food markets full of local fresh fish and vegetables.
During the first week of September Javea hosts the famous bulls' fiesta. Here bulls are released into a paddock area where they are taunted by local youngsters who jump into the sea when bulls charge them.
Another attraction of Javea is Playa de Arenal, a beach area including numerous café, bars and restaurants.

The villa has: * a large private pool (10 x 4m), *a spacious poolside patio area, *gardens, * additional sun terraces and a covered naya. *a lovely master bedroom with ensuite toilet/shower room, *a second double bedroom, * a twin bedroom; *a second toilet/shower room.
There is also a very spacious main living area including: *comfortable sofa, *English Satellite TV a DVD player, *a CD music system.
The well equipped kitchen includes: *cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher.
There are ceiling fans in the lounge and all bedrooms and central heating for winter lets. There is also a local, English speaking agent who maintains the villa and who is available for assistance/advice if required. There is a travel cot available and an additional bed can be supplied upon request.
Further details outdoors: The villa is just a few minutes drive to both Javea town centre and to the main sandy Arenal beach.
The villa is also within easy reach of the Javea and La Sella golf courses while the cosmopolitan resort of Moraira is only 15 minutes away.
