Casa Catherine is a beautiful 4/5 bedroom villa including a separate 1/2 bedroom apartment, located in the Balcon al Mar area of Javea. It has distant views to the sea, the bay of Javea, and from the upper sun terrace, wonderful views to the valley and mountains. The villa accommodation has a large lounge/dining room, with a Tosca fireplace. Cable TV with English Sky family and sports package, German, Dutch, French and Spanish channels are also available. There is also a DVD player with a library of films for your enjoyment. The kitchen is equipped with a hob and oven, a microwave and a dishwasher. Leading from the kitchen is a utility room with a washing machine. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms both fitted with twin beds, and a bathroom.
On the first floor is a double bedroom with an en suite shower room consisting of a toilet, bidet and shower. Sliding patio doors lead from the bedroom onto a large terrace with mountain and sea views. As Balcon al Mar is situated on a headland, there are several beautiful scenic views and walks close by. There are outside dining facilities for up to 8 people.

Despite so much sun, the coastal towns of Javea, Moraira and Calpe are sheltered from the extremes of heat and drought by their own unique micro climate, which helps to keep the countryside green all year round.
Javea / Balcon Al Mar area
Balcon Al Mar is situated on the Cap Nao headland and is surrounded by attractive beaches. The area is lightly forested and known for peace and tranquility whilst at the same time remaining close to the hub of all the facilities that Javea has to offer.
The Mediterranean coastal waters make an ideal place to learn to sail, and courses are offered in English and Spanish from a number of sailing schools. There are also scuba diving courses and a wide variety of pleasure cruises, including the infamous 'beach party cruise' booked from Javea or Denia port. This is a great day out on a large catamaran which takes you down the coast towards Moraira before dropping anchor in a secluded bay. Here you can swim from the boat whilst the crew prepare a barbecued meal and serve sangria and soft drinks.

Javea is situated an hour in either direction from both the international airports of Alicante and Valencia. These airports are serviced by a number of budget airlines including Easyjet, Ryanair and BMI.

Further details indoors: There is a separate apartment on the lower ground floor comprising of a lounge/ kitchen, with TV and DVD player (the kitchen area is fitted with hob/oven, microwave and washing machine) a bedroom with a double bed and an en suite shower room. There is a room between the lounge and bedroom which has 2 single beds, although this is open plan from the lounge area and would be more suitable for children.
Further details outdoors: Outside the apartment is a terraced area overlooking the rear garden. Leading from the Villa lounge is a spacious naya and terraced area overlooking the private swimming pool. There is also a BBQ area with gas BBQ. Within walking distance from the villa you will find several bars and restaurants and a well stocked supermarket. There are also some beautiful view points to be found within the Balcon al Mar area.

A welcome pack of provisions is included free of charge. Rental charges provide for the cleaning prior to arrival only. To ensure that the property can be prepared in time for the next client please leave the property as you would expect to find it. Check in time after 3:30pm, departure by 10:00am.
Conditions
Bookings can be made by using the enquiry form and contacting us via this web site. We will forward details of how to make your reservation. The booking will then be confirmed when 30% of the total rental has been received. The balance together with a refundable inventory deposit of 250€ must be paid 8 weeks prior to the start of your stay. If your booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking. The inventory deposit will be returned by transfer after final inspection, within 14 days of departure.
