Javea is situated in the Northern Costa Blanca, just over an hour's drive from Alicante and Valencia airports. Both these airports are extremely well served by scheduled, "no-frills" and charter flights, every day of the week. It has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. There are numerous attractions such as Terra Mítica, the theme park in Benidorm, just half hours drive from Jávea. Benidorm Palace a world class cabaret show. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit or even just to go shopping. 24th August 2008 sees the F1 Gran Priz in Valencia. It is also possible to visit Barcelona in a day!
Javea / Montgo Toscamar area
Jávea has long been the destination of choice for discerning visitors who are not interested in mass-market resorts. Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Don't miss the local fiestas especially the Moors and Christians from 16th to 20th July and the main Port fiestas from the 23rd August to 8th September when on the final night there is a terrific firework display over the harbour.

Further details indoors: Los Coloures is a traditional style three bedroom villa, with the main living area of the villa all on one level. The front door leads in to the entrance hall with double doors going through to the very large, L-shaped lounge and dining room. A passage goes from the entrance hall to the three bedrooms (two double and one twin). The bedrooms are all spacious and furnished with comfortable beds. The master bedroom, with kingsize bed, has an ensuite shower room, the other bedrooms share a separate family bathroom. All the bedrooms have air conditioning. The lounge and dining room feature a beamed ceiling, Tosca stone arches and a Tosca fireplace. There is satellite TV with some Sky programmes including Sky Sports. The very well equipped kitchen is off the dining area.
Further details outdoors: From the dining area sliding doors go out to an open terrace offering lovely views across the valley to the south and west. This open terrace is equipped with a large teak table and chairs for lazy meals, and awnings that will provide welcome shade. This will be a great place to sit and enjoy a sundowner perhaps watching the wonderful sunsets. The back door goes out to a service patio and small utility room housing the washing machine. From the lounge area sliding doors lead to the large, glazed sun room. This is very comfortably furnished and has an over-head fan and "roll-out" awnings creating a cool spot to sit, read, chat and eat in the hot summer months. The views from here, across the Jávea valley are delightful. Steps go down from the sun lounge to the swimming pool with its paved surround. Beside the pool terrace is a small "pool room", a sitting room ideal for escaping the sun, or relaxing quietly while still being close to the pool. The pool area is completely private, with a hedge to the south, walls to the east and west, and the villa itself providing protection to the north. Paths go from the pool terrace to the very extensive garden. The garden features traditional Mediterranean plants, trees and shrubs, including palms, almonds and citrus trees. There are lawned areas, and a labyrinth of gravelled paths wandering through the property. The villa is in a quiet position at the end of a cul de sac.
