About the home

Bruja is easily accessible with 'no frills' flights flying in to both Alicante and Valencia airports. Just over an hours drive from either airport and you can be at the villa by the pool in the peace and quiet of Jávea. The ideal holiday home to chill out.

This is a two storey villa, set in large gardens. Entrance to the main living area is up steps to a large arched terrace offering wonderful views. This terrace is furnished with a comfortable sofa and chairs, plus a large dining table and chairs. The front door leads straight in to the spacious, split level living/dining room, featuring a floor of hand made tiles. The dining table, made to order for the owner, has a beautiful tiled top. From the dining area doors lead to a pretty, enclosed patio. There is a small kitchen, with a door out to the barbecue area. The master bedroom with en suite bathroom is off the dining area. A separate entrance to the second bedroom on this level is through the terrace (or through the double bedded room and bathroom). This bedroom shares the bathroom with the master bedroom. On the lower level, with separate external entrance, is another arched terrace overlooking a lawn. There is a bathroom, with separate shower stall and the washing machine is in this bathroom.

Further details outdoors:
The villa stands in a double plot with many places for children to play. The swimming pool, set beside one of the lawns, has a sun terrace with plenty of room for sunbeds and a straw parasol giving extra shade. The lovely thing about this villa are the many terraces surrounding the house giving sun or shade depending on the time of day. The barbecue area, conveniently located by the kitchen, has been designed to provide a secluded spot to catch the evening sun, here there is a purpose built barbecue and stone tables and benches.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And more locally, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and the city is once again host to the European F1 Grand Prix 22nd to 24th of June 2012. Valencia is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

The Javea / Montgo Carrasquetes area

Jávea has long been the destination of choice for discerning visitors who are not interested in mass-market resorts. Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Each year Jávea celebrates several fiestas. Ones not to be missed are San Juan, June 18th to 24th, being the main fiesta of the 'old town'. The last night boasts a terrific firework display and the burning of a 'falla'. During July there is the colourful Moors and Christians festival and 1st to 8th September is the Virgen de Loreto, port fiestas. Not to be missed is the last night, 8th September, the firework display over the fishing port is spectacular.
