About the home

Lovely pool and garden with lawns. Barbecue terrace and pergola. Very well equipped including Television with BBC, ITV, free wi-fi internet access and telephone with free calls within Spain. The ideal holiday home to chill out.
Javea has a wonderful beach and many pretty coves. Within half hour drive is Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park) for fun days out & Benidorm Palace (cabaret show).

Steps lead from the garden to the front door, which opens in to a spacious entrance hall. From here a Tosca stone arch leads through to the large, very comfortably furnished lounge/dining room. Double doors go from the dining area to a covered terrace. The villa is very well equipped. The kitchen is big and has access to a small service patio. From the main entrance hall a passageway leads to the three bedrooms, shower room and en suite bathroom. The bedrooms are all comfortably furnished and are equipped with fans. The villa has a wi-fi broadband internet connection. Bring your own laptop.

Further details outdoors:
The extensive covered terrace is well equipped with tables and chairs for al fresco meals and relaxing in the shade. This terrace overlooks the swimming pool. Steps go down to the garden and swimming pool with its paved surround. The pool is big (9m x 4,5m) and there are plenty of sun loungers. The garden is pretty, well maintained, and features lots of lawn and beds with Mediterranean plants. The service patio leads out to a stone flagged patio and pergola. The pergola is furnished with table and chairs for those meals cooked on the nearby purpose built barbecue, all conveniently located by the kitchen.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And more locally, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and the city is once again host to the European F1 Grand Prix 22nd to 24th of June 2012. Valencia is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

The Javea / Montgo area

Jávea has long been the destination of choice for discerning visitors who are not interested in mass-market resorts. Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Each year Jávea celebrates several fiestas. Ones not to be missed are San Juan, June 18th to 24th, being the main fiesta of the 'old town'. The last night boasts a terrific firework display and the burning of a 'falla'. During July there is the colourful Moors and Christians festival and 1st to 8th September is the Virgen de Loreto, port fiestas. Not to be missed is the last night, 8th September, the firework display over the fishing port is spectacular.

Villa Mimosa was everything the pictures and information stated it would be... and more.
The villa sits on a peaceful location on Montgo, amongst mainly residential villas. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees.
The lounge and the naya/balcony, looking out across the valley is absolutely breathtaking, and hard to match! These provide the luxury touch and undoubtedly ensure this villa stands out.
An ideal family villa, but my husband and I were equally happy losing ourselves there.
Plenty of sun loungers by the poolside, which is sunny all day. Everything you could ever want was provided.
Cleanliness is important for us, this villa provided immaculate surroundings, crisp white bedding, quality towels and furnishings.
You would need a car to do shopping and visit the port or beach, which are only 10 mins away max... but don't be put off. There is something wonderful about escaping to Mimosa in the evening and watching the sun set.
A very professional and trusted villa company, that we will definitely seek out again. molliechloe

Very enjoyable and relaxing holiday - Like many people getting away from the stresses and strains of working life the holiday was just whatthe doctor ordered. Kids found plenty to occupy themselves and the villa filled all of our requirements.

we javea'd a lovely time - the villa was superb,with ample spots for lazing around in the sun.the pool was an excellent size,although shaded by a tree from a neighbouring villa.fully equipped with everythink you could possibly need,although an extra bin in the bathroom or bedroom would have been helpful.

Very enjoyable stay - My thanks to aspects of Spain Ltd for a marvellous holiday. Accommodation was 1st class with wonderful views from both the pool and the balcony. Rooms were of good size and very clean. Lounge is excellent. Excellent pool with parts of the pool afforded some shade in the afternoon by a solitary tree next door. Barbeque could use some attention. Villa is 5-10 minutes drive from Javea. Nearest recycling is 2 minutes away, and is on the way to Javea.

2nd time at Mimosa, will be back again! - Great villa with everything you need. Stayed at Mimonsa last year and enjoyed it so much returned again.
Pool cleaned twice whilst we were there, maybe more. Villa is very clean and for us an ideal location. Both times we have stayed in June and it has been tranquil and quiet, so ideal place to relax.

Sant Joan Festival June 2011
We stayed in the villa Mimosa in Javea June 17th to 24th.We chose this villa because it is situated near the old town of Javea, were the Sant Joan festival takes place.
This is the 5th time i have booked with aspects Of Spain, and as always every thing was excellent.
The instructions for collecting keys and finding the villa were very clear and easily understood, there was also additional information in the villa regarding the festival which i had asked for.
The villa was excellent no complaints, the kitchen was well equipped with every thing. The lounge area was extremely comfortable and homely.
The terrace ideal for outside dining,the pool was clean and the gardens tidy.
Overall our stay was great and the festival lived up to all expectations.
