Our modern apartment is situated in the tranquil development of La Isla, considered to be one of the best complexes in Javea. A sunny balcony looks onto peaceful gardens with a large beautiful communal lagoon style pool with bridges and a central island feature. The tropical gardens offer spacious lawns and plenty of shade for long hours of relaxing.
5 minutes level walk to the blue flag sandy beach. Safe for children with gently sloping sand into clear waters, with sunbeds and parasols available. Easy walking distance to banks, supermarkets, tourist office, restaurants, shops, bars. Diving, tennis, sailing, boat trips, horse riding, go karting and golf all available. Javea market is well worth a visit on Thursday's. Sailing trips can be arranged on a friends yacht subject to his availability.

The apartment is well equipped throughout with lounge with double sofabed, tv, video, wi fi access. A sunny south facing balcony overlooking the peaceful gardens with patio chairs and table. There is a separate fully fitted kitchen with new worktops, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and microwave. The double bedroom has mountain views and there is a bathroom with a full sized bath and shower. Ceiling fans are provided to keep you cool during summer months.

Communal lagoon style pool with 3 very large pool areas narrowing under bridges and circling a central island feature. The shallow part of the pool has safe steps for children. Large tropical gardens and lawns with ample shade. Private gated entry for residents only so never crowded. A private sunny balcony overlooks the gardens and pool. Sunlounger chairs are provided. There is a lift and ample shaded parking, but everything is within easy walking distance so a car is not necessary. Airport collection can be arranged.

Bed linen is included, plus one bath towel and one hand towel per guest. Beach towels are not included.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


Costa Blanca averages 320 days of sunshine each year and boasts an array of features from beautiful gentle sandy beaches to rocky cliffs and a backdrop of mountains with almond blossom, grape vines and orange trees growing in profusion. A 20 minute drive from Javea is the Jalon valley, with its wonderful scenery. A few miles further is the spectacular Algar waterfalls where you can swim in the summer. The mountaintop village of Guadalest is a great day trip.
There are a number of theme parks at Benidorm just a half hour drive away including Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, and Mundomar. Valencia an hour away is a lively and interesting day trip with wonderful architecture, especially the new art and science museums or the Oceonagraphic.
Local to Javea are the pretty town of Moraira or over the mountain to Denia (or go by boat), these are both varied and scenic places to visit.
The food and drink in the area are unbeatable both for value and quality. Choose 'menu del dia' available for under 10 euros, or try out the tapas, paella, or sangria.

The Javea / Arenal area
Javea is a small, historic town, free of high rise buildings with the beautiful, sandy Arenal bay planted with palm trees and with play areas for children, sunbeds and parasols. Just a few minutes walk from our apartment at La Isla, this blue flag sandy beach has a wonderful promenade of bars, restaurants and shops. In the summer months there are market stalls selling hand made products along the promenade at night.
A half hour walk along the rocky coastline brings you to the popular area of Javea Port. This is a traditional fishing port with a large marina, plenty of shops, a brightly lit promenade of restaurants and bars with a clean white pebble beach. Boat trips are available. Just inland from the Port is the traditional historic 'Pueblo'. Here is the true spanish way of life with narrow streets, tradional tapas bars, an old church, and a weekly market.
The spectacular fiestas begin in June and continue throughout the summer months. The third week of July is the Moors and Christians fiesta, with a costume parade not to be missed.
The orange groves behind our apartment are ideal for walking and cycling. There are tennis courts just round the corner and diving schools, boat trips, and a go kart track all in walking distance.
There are beautiful coastal walks and viewpoints within a few minutes drive of our apartment.
The Montgo mountain provides a fantastic backdrop to Javea and is a national park. The local coast offers spectacular scenery in all directions and on a clear day the island of Ibiza is visible on the horizon.
