LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION !!! The apartment is situated in the prettiest and most convenient part of the Arenal area, overlooking the marina (not other apartments) with the beautiful Arenal beach on your doorstep (about 100 metres) as well as 2 swimming pools within a 3 minute walk - The Lancora pool and The Javea Tennis Club - these are lovely pools with food and drink on hand.

You also have all the shops, restaurants and nightlife right there within a 2 minute walk!

The apartment is on the top floor (4th) with LIFT (installed March 2013). It has 2 bedrooms, a new modern bathroom (inc powerful shower, bath, toilet & sink), extra toilet with sink, modern kitchen, large lounge/diner (with 1 double sofa bed) & a large balcony overlooking the marina with fantastic country and sea views. Air conditioning in the lounge and master bedroom and ceiling fans in both bedrooms.

The apartment has 1 large double bedroom with super king size bed and a large twin room with two single beds. There is also 1 double sofa bed in the lounge. The apartment is large and spacious. The lounge and bedrooms have air conditioning/heating available at a charge and both bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival and clean linen and towels for the apartment will be provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

There are 2 large tables with chairs, one on the balcony and one in the lounge.

There is a washing machine, oven, hob, large fridge/freezer in the kitchen and a TV, DVD, & Music Centre in the lounge.

You also have access to the roof for drying washing or sunbathing (why waste those rays - you can do both at the same time)!

Cots, high chairs, etc. rental can be arranged.

The Valenciana region

The northern Costa Blanca is a very fertile area with acres of vineyards and orange groves, almonds in blossom in midwinter, mountains, pine forests, rocky coastlines with sandy beaches.

The charming towns and villages of the area continue their Spanish way of life accepting and welcoming visitors yet not dominated in any way by tourism.

With a first class choice of sports facilities at all times of the year and an ideal climate this is a superb location for your holiday.

The northern COSTA BLANCA enjoys the best year round climate anywhere in Spain. Summers are hot and sunny, but not normally uncomfortable with average temperatures 32ºC in July and August with gentle offshore breezes.

Winters are exceptionally mild, protected by surrounding mountains to the north and west with average temperatures of 16ºC even in January. Furthermore, the area is stunningly beautiful and officially designated as a CONSERVATION AREA.

Javea

Javea consists of three distinct area's. The "Arenal" beach, the "Port" and the "Old Town".

The Arenal, with it's magnificent beach and palm tree lined promenade is within a two minute walk of the apartment and is wonderful for sunbathing and safe swimming. There are dozens of good restaurants and bars along the promenade with a large variety to cater for all tastes. At night, craft stalls are set up and there are many amusements to keep both adults and children entertained.

The "Port" area is around twenty minutes walk (or there is a regular land train/trolley bus) from the "Arenal" beach and has more good quality bars, restaurants and some excellent gift shops. A bustling, hive of activity, the Port has great character and has retained all of its Spanish "feel" of years gone by. Rod fishing off the pier or the rocks is very popular and if you don't catch anything you can always buy fresh fish from the nightly fish markets.

Like the Port, the "Old Town" has maintained it's whitewashed buildings and narrow streets. Typically spanish, there is always something going on, lively fiestas, and street markets.

This friendly, upmarket holiday destination with its great atmosphere offers a wide range of activities. These include Golf, sailing, swimming, scuba diving, water skiing, wind surfing, cycling, tennis, jet ski, go-karting or quieter pursuits, snorkeling, coarse fishing, bird watching, walking and horse riding all of which makes this a very popular choice with holiday makers of all ages.

For an excellent day trip, the white knuckle theme park "Terra Mitica" and the water park "Aqualandia" are both located on the outskirts of Benidorm which is about 25 minutes by car.

"Great holiday, fantastic location"

This is a great apartment in a fantastic location and the air conditioning is brilliant. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The views from the balcony are beautiful and the real bonus is you can sit out, enjoy your breakfast and watch the world go by as in the morning you are not in the direct sunshine. You really are minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants and their is a small supermarket at the end of the road. Jane the owner was so helpful, thank-you and I am sure we will be seeing you again soon.

"well equiped apartment in a good location"

the apartment was well equipped and fitted out to a good standard, it was spotlessly clean and tidy. Good location only 100m from the beach and lots of good watering holes, snack and good eating places were within 10 minutes walking distance. Owners were on hand if any assistance would have been required but thankfully not required. Would go again !!

"Fantastic Views"

The views from the apt. make the stairs worth the effort the apartment is clean and comfy. We spent many hours watching the activity on the canal . Shops and the beach
are right on the doorstop. We would highly recomend the apartment and you can be sure that your stay woould be a happy one.

"fantastic location"

This apartment is a home from home with all the things you need supplied by the owner, even chairs for the beach!!!!.We have just had ten fabulous days in Javea and the weather was superb,the beaches are fabulous and very clean, there is just such a relaxed atmosphere about the whole place, we are going back next year without a doubt,already pricing flights,ha ha .The only complaint l can come up with is the stairs,there are a lot,not bad going down but going up is a killer on your calf muscles. apart from that perfect. well done jane.xx

"A lovely apartment with absolutely fantastic views of canal and mountain"

Well, if its views you are after, you won't find anything better than the view from this lovely comfortable apartment. You are overlooking the marina and have views to the mountain (Montgo) beyond. The apartment is well equipped and has all mod cons. There is no swimming pool on site but there are two within easy walking distance. There is Javea Tenis (which costs 6 Euro each person) or L'Ancora which is free - all they ask is that you buy a drink (or two). You are spoilt for choice with many bars and restaurants and it is lovely strolling along the prom of an evening which has market stalls all along it. If you want value for money, I would recommend a trip to Scallops restaurant (far end of beach), where you can get a 3 course meal for around 9 Euros which includes a bottle of wine and a ticket for a free breakfast! Even if you choose not to eat there of an evening, you wont find a better deal on their breakfasts - really good value and costs between 1.60 and 2.95 Euros for a full English! I would also recommenda trip to Guadalest which is a small village, high in the mountains - with a fantastic view over the turquoise lake at the bottom and a must is a trip to the Fonts del Algar - how about swimming in crystal clear (but cold !) water! If you do go there, dont be tempted to park in the first car park. There are plenty more nearer the Fonts, just keep driving till you get nearer the shops and restaurants. If you are beach fanatic, you might want to do what we did this year and buy a couple of sunbeds (30 Euros each) as they charge 18 Euros for 2 sunbeds and a parasol on the beach - expensive if you like to spend most of your time on the beach. Market day is a Thursday but I would recommend you go early otherwise you will find yourself stuck in traffic for ages! The port area is also worth a trip as well. There used to be a little land train which ran between the beach and the port but this was taken out of service this year (we were told this was due to the taxis firms kicking up a fuss about losing fares). It is a shame - it was part of Javea. There are also waterparks and a brilliant theme park (Terra Mittica) if you have children and these are near Benidorm. Enjoy!

"Great Value, Great Location"

This is a small apartment in a block less than 5 minutes from the lovely Arenal Beach.
It has a great view if you want to sit and watch the small boats tootle up and down the river too. It is up a few levels and there is no lift, so you need to be able bodied.
The furnishings could be a little more modern but what is there is very comfortable indeed. I have tried booking again and it was FULL! This is a property for sleeping in - its for those who want to get out and about, or just down to the beach. It's a little home from home!
I love it for its location. I want to go back. And I will..
