Home description

The villa has recently undergone a complete reburbishment and redecoration and has been furnished to a very high standard. Most rooms within the villa and the pool area have stunning distant sea views across the valley below which is full of oranges, moscatel grapes, wine, olives, almonds and cherry groves. Across the valley is the beautiful La Sella golf course and we are 5 minutes from the brand new indoor shopping centre with cinema and bowling alley. The master bedroom, which can be used as a self contained unit, has its own en-suite wet room, kitchen and its own private terrace perfect for an intimate breakfast or drinks with views across the valley below. There are also two further terraces, which are perfect for al-fresco dining. The pool when when lit up at night, creates a very picturesque setting.

To sum up, this is a very comfortable,modern villa providing total privacy and is only 7 minutes to the fantastic La Sella golf complex and 15 minutes to the beach and night life in Javea.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The region is known as the 'oasis of Spain' due to an abundance of olive groves, almond trees, citrus fruits, vines and pine forests making the area green all year and enjoys an average of 300 days of sunshine. Known as the White Coast there are hundreds of beautiful coves with Blue Flag status stretched along its spectacular coastline.

Attractions locally in the Costa Blanca include The Safari Animal Park, Benidoleig Caves, Terra Mitica Theme Park, Aqualandia Water Park and Mundomar are all within 30 minutes drive. We are 5 minutes drive from a brand new indoor shopping centre with fabulous shops, cinema and bowling alley. Valencia's impressive City of Arts and Sciences has Europe's largest Marine Park housing over 45,000 animals of 500 different species in the numerous underground aquariums. Across the valley from the villa you can see the 18 hole internationally renowned golf course at La Sella which is just 7 minutes drive away and has the 5* Marriott Hotel with restaurants and Jazz/Blues Bar, driving range and clubhouse with bar and restaurant overlooking the 1st tee. Take time for a day trip inland to visit mountain villages and to enjoy the fantastic countryside and beautiful views of Northern Costa Blanca.


Javea area

The town of Javea is located in the Spanish region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. This popular resort is often referred to as the jewel in the crown of the Costa Blanca and it's easy to see why. The World Health Organisation once named it as having one of the healthiest climates in the world, enjoying more recorded hours of sunshine per year than any other place in Spain.
Thousands of British people have come on holiday to Javea, fallen in love with it and decided to make it their permanent home. It's certainly not one of Spain's biggest tourist centres - but Javea offers a high quality holiday for visitors of all ages.
Situated midway between Valencia and Alicante airports (about an hour's drive from each if you use the toll paying motorway) Javea is easily accessible but has never been inundated by package holidaymakers.
Javea's most distinctive feature is the mountain known locally as "the Montgo". This provides a dramatic backdrop for the resort and those who live in Javea swear blind it's an elephant, turned to stone, with its trunk dipping into the sea for a drink. It's a strange phenomenon but you can even see the elephant's eye close as the sun goes down (especially if you've had too much sangria!).
Javea is divided into three distinct sections, all quite different to one another. There's the old town - the original Javea, set slightly back from the coast and the place to visit if you're interested in Spanish history and culture. Here you'll find charming, narrow streets, shopkeepers speaking the local language "Valenciano" and a truly Spanish feel to the place. Thursday's a good day to visit when there's a big market in the Plaza de la Constitucion.
Then there's the port area - still a working fishing port and a delightful place to visit with its mixture of fishing vessels, luxury yachts and seafront bars and cafes.
But it's the Arenal Beach which attracts the vast majority of holidaymakers - a beautiful crescent shaped sandy beach with a promenade lined with bars, cafes, restaurants, gift shops and ice-cream parlours.


How to get there

Javea is situated midway between Alicante and Valencia, both airports are well serviced by charter and budget airlines (both Easyjet and Ryanair) as well as Thomson, Monarch, BA etc.

A car is essential, all of the major car hire companies operate from either airport and the drive is approximately 1 hour. You take E15/A7 motorway to junction 62 then follow the signs to Javea / Pedreguer - detailed instructions will be sent upon payment of final balance.

The bedrooms are all large doubles in size and comprise of two twins and one double. The master bedroom has an en-suite wet room, kitchen, its own private terrace perfect for an intimate breakfast or drinks with views across the valley below, this could also be used as a separate self contained apartment . All bedrooms have wardrobes, side cabinets and reading lights. There is a new American style kitchen with large black granite work surface, washing machine, hob and built-in oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The open plan lounge and dining area overlooks the valley and pool and which when lit up at night, creates a very picturesque setting.

Further details outdoors:
The outside terracing around the 8X4m pool is very private and secluded, it is spacious and well equipped with a shaded pergola,dining table and chairs, sun loungers, outside shower area, etc. This leads to two further terraces which provides a superb area for al-fresco dining.

There is a long gated driveway up to the villa which provides secure off road parking for several cars.

All linen and bath towels are provided. Villa cleaned between lets only. Weekly refresher clean of bathroom areas and linen change for two week holidays.


Conditions

A 50% Deposit is required to secure your Holiday Reservation with the Balance remaining plus an additional £150 Refundable Security Deposit (for breakages) payable in full 6 weeks before your Holiday Start Date. This will be returned in full within 10 working days after rental period ends and after the villa has been checked.
