About the home

Golden Beach II gated complex is a perfect place for your holiday. Only a few minutes walk from the Arenal beach which is lined wih resturants and shops . Leading into the apartment you will enter the hallway, on your left you will find a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances next to the kitchen is a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes, two single beds and a shower room.The ensuite master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets. On you right there is a open plan living/dining room with two leather sofas, Flat screen TV & Cable TV,coffee table, dining table. Leading on from the living room through two large patio doors you will find a spacious balancy with views to the back of Javea and onto the Montgo Mountain perfect on a evening to watch the sun go down.

Javea itself is split into three small areas, The Pueblo (old town), Arenal (the beach) and the Port. All areas can be visited using the local bus which runs every half hour or should you like to walk a pleasant walk along the seafront to the Port should take up to forty minutes. The Pueblo is a lovely historic town with narrow streets leading up to the old church and has a great market on thursday mornings in the main plaza (square). The Arenal is a lovely sandy beach with small childrens areas along the front and the seafront is lined with restaurants, bars and shops. The Port has a pebble beach (La Grana) and is lined with resturants and shops. The fishing boats come in daily and take there fresh fish to the market where is can be purchased, you can take boat trips daily in the summer months to Denia or Calpe.

On arrival to the apartment we will provide a small welcome package to get you started which includes tea and coffee, milk sachets, kitchen/Toilet rolls, Washing/Dishwasher tablets and washing powder.

Javea itself is a small, historic town, free of high rise buildings offering a relaxing holiday and contact with a friendly and forthcoming local population, with its variety of landscape, ranging from sandy coastlines to rugged mountain areas, its mild year-round climate, extensive tourist facilities, is a jewel on the Costa Blanca, combining beauty and modern facilities with the charm of an ancient fishing village.

Javea has one of the most attractive seaports along the Mediterranean, due both to its location and to its unsurpassed fishing and sports installations.
The modern Yacht Club at the sports marina has nearly 300 berths and facilities for all types of water sports, sailing, fishing, scuba diving, water skiing, windsurfing etc. Just outside of the town, surrounded by pines and orange groves, the Javea Golf Club offers a pleasant setting for golfers. There are several other golf courses within easy access of Javea. A number of sports clubs and associations in the area promote tennis, horse-riding and even shooting.

The Arenal beach area is the commercial and tourist part of Javea .The beautiful, sandy bay is planted with palm trees and has play areas for children. The bay is fringed by the promenade with its wonderful choice of bars and restaurants offering national and international specialities. Interesting shops and boutiques abound.
The clean, warm, blue Mediterranean Sea washes its miles of beaches, coves and cliffs where you can enjoy hours of sun and sea. With its variety of landscape, its mild year round climate Javea is a jewel on the Costa Blanca.

We have had a great time there this last week, and enjoyed your lovely apartment - thanks for that!
The development is excellent and really well placed for the beach and bars whilst being away from the noise! I can see why you bought there. We had a look at the three bed apartment above through Jose at Javea Villas as a possible investment. Sue may give you a call too later in the week for a chat.

The keys were left in the apartment and I hope your next guests enjoy it as much as we did. Didn't get to Scallops, but very much enjoyed Monsoon, La Boheme and Nanoyo. Had a few late evening drinks at Matinee, but I get the impression the local Russian "businessmen" hang out there too!The staff in Monsoon were great and the food excellent when we went. Also enjoyed the Irish Bar down the road for after dinner entertainment - whether there was live music or not! Managed a day trip to Valencia too.

The weather wasn't too bad, a couple of days were hot, we didn't have any rain, it did get windy so I've got some good photos of some waves, and the sun shined everyday, so much better than here. I'll get back to you re future holiday bookings. best wishes Barbara
