San Esteban is a complex of 44 privately owned apartments situated within easy reach of the Port and Arenal beaches, supermarkets and bars and is just 2 minutes walk from the sea. From the balcony there are stunning views of the Montgo. Javea's magnificent mountain and the hills. Canopies have been added to the balcony to allow you to enjoy the summer sun. The accommodation comprises 3 double bedrooms (one double and two twin-bedded rooms), 2 full bathrooms, lovely modern kitchen including dishwasher. washing machine and microwave, large lounge/diner and entrance hall. It is furnished to high specifications and will sleep 6. There is a television showing English TV programmes. Wi-fi is available. An iron and ironing board are available. In the lounge there is an air conditioning unit for the hot summer months. The bedrooms all have ceiling fans and air conditioning units. The apartment has full gas central heating to radiators.

The apartment is West facing and therefore has afternoon and evening sun. It is situated on the top floor of the complex ( the complex only has three floors including the ground floor ). It is served by a lift.

The complex only has 44 apartments in total and has large Mediterranean gardens and a large communal swimming pool with a toddlers area.
A £150 security deposit is required with all reservations and this is refundable within 3 weeks of the apartment being vacated. A 30% deposit is required with all reservations with the balance being due eight weeks prior to arrival.
About this location
The Valenciana region
With it's rugged coastline and mountainous backdrop Javea is a spectacular place. It is also quite close to a number of other places of interest such as the splendid city of Valencia, home to the America's Cup in 2007. Valencia really is a 'must see' city. For those who do not wish to travel that far we are only 40 minutes from the theme parks of Benidorm. If you take a trip to Denia, some fifteen minutes by car (or you could go by boat) you can catch a ferry to the islands of Ibiza and Majorca- indeed on a clear day there are wonderful views to Ibiza from many parts of Javea. A 20 minute drive takes you into the Jalon valley with it's wondrous scenery, bodegas and rural restaurants.
With around 320 days of sunshine each year the Javea area has a very appealing climate. Classified as 'near perfect' by the World Health Organisation the microclimate has proven very beneficial to many people with ailments. Javea, with it's three parts, the Casco Urbano (Old Town), Port and Arenal has something for everybody. The locals call it ' Amanecer de Espana, the ' dawn of Spain' because it occupies the most easterly point overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Javea is a working Port and is where people from many parts of northern Europe come to make their home. Javea's history includes the defeat of the Moors by King Jaime in 1244 and San Bartolome Church has an inner wall dating from this time. Javea has many fiestas starting with Los Reyes ( Three Kings) on the night of 5th January , through the Hogueras de San Juan in June, the Moors and Christians in July and the Port Fiesta in September. Besides these main fiestas a number of others take place and if you are here in Javea in the Summer months you will almost certainly see part of one of our fiestas.

"What more could you want"
What a superbly equipped apartment, very spacious and considering there were 6 of us plus a child it never felt overcrowded.
Everything and more that you would want is included and on the only ocassion an implement failed there was a replacement there the following morning obligingly delivered by Bob, always helpful.
The complex is very well maintained and the grounds are private and offer sun or shade as you wish
Superb balcony spaces, front and back, ideal for nightcaps or al fresco dining - all in all spot on
The location is excellent being only 5 mins to the beach bars and 15 mins eiher to Arenel, the sandy beach with all its restauarants, or the more relaxed port area, again with a superb range of eating houses. Supermarket approx 100metres away with a bodega across the avenue.
We have been coming to Javea for over 20 years and this is one of the best apartments and locations you could wish for - close to all facilities but still tranquility abounds
