About the home
Our beautiful villa is only a short drive from the golden sandy Arenal beach with easy access and ample parking. You can then walk along the promenade for the restaurants, lively bars, and smart boutiques.
Villa Trencall is in an exclusive part of Javea, tranquil and secluded with a tropical feel and a lovely breeze in the summer months.
The house has WiFi and telephone for free local calls and is very comfortably furnished with cream leather suite in the lounge, and features Tosca stone archways, wooden beam ceilings, a natural stone wall in the dining room and a log burning fire for the winter lets giving a cosy feeling to the whole house.
French windows from the dining room lead out onto the terrace and BBQ area, which is perfect for breakfast as it catches the morning sun. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and dressing area, and large French windows which open onto the front garden. All bedrooms are cooled by ceiling fans and the windows are fitted with mosquito blinds.
The well established garden and private pool face south west to take full advantage of the sun on the wide surrounding lawns and pergola covered terraces. There are also lovely shady areas under the trees to be able to sit and read a book, with a glass of Rioja.
The garden has been planted with many Mediterranean plants and trees such as oranges, lemons, hibiscus, palm trees, bougainvillea and perfumed flowers such as jasmine and dame de noche , which fills the air at night to compliment the al fresco dining by the floodlit pool.
The poolside bar has a fridge and romantic lighting for those evening cocktails.

We have made our house a home for people and have furnished it with a new cream leather suite, lovely cream curtains and all the beds are excellent quality, pocket sprung, and very comfortable. We have WiFi, telephone and Cable TV in the main living areas and also the master bedroom, supplying you with over 30 English channels. The walls are covered in family photos and there is even an album in the bookcase which will give you a flavour of our time spent in Javea with our family. The kitchen and dining room have been recently refurbished and newly equipped. The added touches are the Tosca stone on the walls and archways and recessed pictures which we bought locally. The French doors take you out onto the lovely terracotta terrace and lawn with BBQ seating area where you can have breakfast under the pergola.

We have had many guests and friends staying at Trencall and the bar and pool area do lend themselves so beautifully to outdoor living and entertaining. We have recently installed an automatic watering system and the transformation for the lawns during the hot dry summer months has been well worth the investment. We love having such a large expanse of lawn as it's great for the children to play on, adults to lounge on and it keeps the house cooler in the summer. There are also trees and shady places which are so necessary in the height of the summer. There are ample loungers and outside furniture which we regularly renew. It is only a short drive to the lovely lively Javea town, port and Arenal beach with it's waterside restaurants. Then it's an absolute pleasure to come back to Trencall where you can sit by the pool and only hear the crickets and birds.
Further details
We have a local representative who is at hand and speaks fluent English. A welcome pack is provided on arrival. The house has an alarm and a safe and it is important that you use both to ensure your valuables are safe. Also please insure your personal belongings against loss or theft as our insurance policy only covers our liabilities. We do not allow pets at the villa for medical and hygiene reasons. We are both non-smokers and would prefer you not to smoke indoors.
Conditions
The conditions for letting are:- The weekly rentals are for the entire villa for a maximum of six people. No pets allowed. Prices include water, electricity, linen, towels (not beach), and pool man and gardener. All kitchen appliances and heating are electric. We ask guests to arrive after 3 pm and vacate the villa by 10 am in order for the cleaning and general maintenance of the villa to be completed for the arrival of clients. Maid service at the beginning and end of your stay. 33% deposit is required on booking. Balance is due 10 weeks prior to departure. Discounts available for longer lets.There is a refundable key and breakage deposit of £100 included in the final account and this will be returned to you subject to no breakage's, the return of our keys, and compliance with all terms and conditions of the let. If there are any problems during your stay which are within our control to rectify we will of course do so, provided that you notify our representative as soon as you arrive or when the problem arises and give them the opportunity to put things right. We provide details of where they can be contacted when we send the final details and villa keys approximately 2 weeks before your departure. Some aspects of holidaying in Spain are not within our control and therefore we cannot accept responsibility or liability for circumstances such as electricity and water cuts, drainage and sewerage problems, insects and animal life associated with a warm climate, and the fact that in this region of Spain the water can sometimes be rather salty. although there is now a desalination plant in Javea. You can of course buy insect repellents and bottled water that we would recommend. FINALLY Please note that the swimming pool is a very dangerous area and therefore we would ask that children are supervised at all times. Please do not swim after consuming alcohol and do not dive in at the shallow end.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


Javea has been described as the jewel of the Costa Blanca. It lies midway between the airports of Alicante and Valencia, which are just over an hour away. Javea has a picturesque town up on a hill, which is the original mediaeval settlement. It features a fortified church, a stone built indoor market and narrow streets with typically Spanish houses. Above, there rises the impressive Sierra of Montgo. Down in the port area, there is an interesting modern church, a luxurious marina and a splendid working fishing harbour which attracts both visitors and residents particularly when the fishing boats are landing their catches. There is a small pebble beach directly in front of some interesting bars and restaurants. The main beach lies a short way to the south of the port and is most attractive, with a wide stretch of golden sand and plenty of bars and restaurants running the length of the bay. Javea is one hour ahead of GMT. There is plenty of all year round sunshine. The Javea area
There is a restaurant at each end of the road within a few minutes walk. Amenities such as supermarkets, tennis, golf, mini golf, green bowling and many water sports are all within a short driving distance. Javea has hundreds of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes and pockets. There are small bays, a working fishing port, a luxurious marina and a beautiful golden sandy beach with waterside bars and restaurants running the length of the bay. In addition, for those with nightlife in mind there are several discos open in the summer months. There are also excellent facilities for sport: golf, tennis, go-karting, windsurfing, scuba diving, jet-skiing, surf-boarding and horse riding. Javea has two Fiestas each year- the first in June in Javea Town and the second in September in the port. Both include colourful processions, dancing, bull running and firework displays. Local industries produce goods, such as basketwork, ceramics of all kinds, furniture and wine. Within a short drive from Javea there are many delightful villages worth visiting as well as the larger resorts where you can enjoy the theme parks of Terra Mittica, Aqualandia, and safari parks of Vergel and Aitana.

Javea is situated mid-way between Alicante and Valencia airports. Flights from the UK are schedule or charter and both are well served by budget airlines, including Ryanair and Easyjet. Flight time from Gatwick or Heathrow is about 2 ¼ hours. The journey time from either airport to the villa is around 75 minutes (approximately 100km). You can drive to the Costa Blanca from Calais in about 18 hours. Have a look at the AA or RAC route planner The majority of the villas are found nestling in the relative cool of the hills surrounding the Javea plain, and to make the very best of your holiday a car will be essential. Car hire needs to be booked with presentation of a driving licence, passport and a credit card. The lead driver MUST be the person named on the credit card. Taxis are plentiful and have fixed fares for most destinations. It is, however, advisable to always check and agree on a price in advance.

you yesterday so hopefully you will get them tomorrow. We had a fantastic time in Javea and loved the villa. This was our 3rd villa holiday and by far the best. The villa feels like a home and there is so much space. We especially liked the pool and the bar!! Hola! Barbara Back in Blighty now, been free of emails and mobiles - our few days at your villa were perfect for us, so thank you. What a wonderful pool, we had a lot of use out of that in short time! So many (pools) now are quite small and only useful to cool off, but you can actually 'swim' in yours. Fab! and a real bonus.
Our mini break was just what we needed and perfect, so thank you for letting us stay for an odd amount of time. We had an idyllic stay.

Hi Barbara,
We're back safe and sound and fully rested after enjoying a miraculously sunny week .The house and garden are lovely, and we felt very much at home - nice to have a large kitchen as we are dangerously foodie! We enjoyed trotting down to the "lonja" in Javea and also the larger one in Denia for fish straight off the boat. Luxury!
All in all, it was just what the doctor ordered, had he ordered it!

We had a wonderful two weeks, the weather couldn't have been more perfect and as you said in your last message, everything was looking good. Take it from me, it was more than looking good, it was just lovely. It was so good to be back there, we did enjoy it so much and we didn't want to come home!! Hi Barbara Have been trying to e-mail you regarding our holiday during the summer but for some reason it refuses to go through. My husband and I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our holiday and pleased we were with the Villa. We could'nt believe how beautiful it was, we thought perhaps the pictures were a bit much but were we mistaken they do not show the real beauthy the the Villa. Hi Barbara Just to let you know all was absolutely perfect at Trencall. We had a blissful two weeks of complete and absolute rest, just going out for a few meals and to get supplies. We really liked the new bed (so comfortable) and the new settees, looked very elegant and suited the room perfectly. The weather was almost perfect too. It was just like coming home, walking in through the door! We did so enjoy it, thank you for making Trencall such a first class holiday home. I haven't had time yet to complete your survey, but I will do it in the next few days and email it back to you. We shall be sending back the keys within the next day.

Changeover day is normally Saturday. Rental prices are for the property per week in UK pounds and include water, electricity, linen, towels (not beach towels), pool and garden maintenance, maid service at the beginning and end of the let, linen change mid-way through the let (if more than one week).
If you wish to make a booking, please contact us and you will sent a booking form. A deposit of one third is taken at the time of booking and the balance is payable 10 weeks prior to departure. We also ask for a key deposit of £100 payable with the balance, which will be returned on receipt of the keys and following an inventory check by our representatives in Spain.
