About the home

Nestled below the Montgo Mountain is this beautiful house set in a quiet area in its own grounds. Furnished to a very high standard with fantastic accommodation for a large family or group of friends. The house comprises 2 comfortable sitting rooms with ample seating. Sky TV. Separate dining room, wine store, beautiful well equiped kitchen with all modern conveniences, breakfast room. Utility room. 3 staircases two of which are open. 4 bedrooms.1 super king + 1 twin sharing the family bathroom. 2 king with en suite bath/shower rooms. Outside. Naya with dining table and chairs seating 8 people plus a further table with 4 chairs and long sofa for relaxing. A child safety gate leads to the oval shaped pool. Sunbathing area with sun beds, tables, umbrella etc. Shower room with toilet. Car port, parking area for 2 plus cars and large parking area to rear. Just imagine sitting on the naya in the shade on a hot day looking out onto the garden, pool or mountains, perfection! More photos on request.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The climate in July August and early September is wonderful for holidays. Hot days and warm evenings. Ideal for the perfect holiday. The area has many places of interest and there are maps and booklets in the villa. Valencia and Alicante are just over an hour away by car and will interest those who would like to visit museums/galleries as well as the famous Valencia aquarium. The area has many mountain ranges which are wonderful for those who enjoy walking or cycling as well as those who just want a drive and a good meal in one of the typically Spanish bars or restaurants. Benidorm with its many attractions including water parks, animal sanctuary and Terra Mitica Theme Park is a 40 minute drive away.

The Javea / Jesus Pobre area

The nearest village to the house is Jesus Pobre. The house is set in the Montgo National Park. It is close to the towns of Denia and Javea, both 10 minutes drive. Gata is approx 5 minutes drive. The house is set towards the bottom of the Montgo Mountain which is a popular area for walkers. Javea's Arenal beach is fine sand with shallow bathing, ideal for families. There are climbing frames for small children on the sand and lots of restaurants and bars alongside the beach. Javea also has a port area as well as a traditional "old town." Both have many places to eat and drink. You can watch the fishermen bringing in their catch and even buy some fresh seafood. Denia beach is literally miles long and is sandy. At the back of the beach are small hotels, bars and restaurants. There is a very smart marina where you can eat and drink whilst watching the coming and goings of the boats. July/August and September is high season for local fiesta's and both Javea and Denia have a full programme including firework displays.

All budget airlines fly to Alicante Airport which is 1.25 hours away. British Airways have a scheduled flight from Heathrow and Gatwick. Valencia airport is 65 minutes away and has many flights from European countries including budget airlines. Car hire is best booked on the internet. The nearest village to the house is Jesus Pobre and Javea and Denia are the nearest towns. Denia and Javea are a 10 minutes drive. Gata approx 5 minute drive. Denia has a port where ferries cross to Ibiza and Majorca.

“This lovely house has everything” We stayed in La Nava in September 2011 - our second visit, and we look forward eagerly to the third. This is a great house set in good, spacious gardens and has been thoughtfully furnished both inside and out - it has the best-equipped kitchen I've ever experienced! The pool is a good size and the outside naya area is perfect for al fresco dining - there is a full-sized BBQ. Bedrooms are comfortable with great views of the area. Jesus Pobre is an excellent base to stay - close to Javea with its wealth of restaurants in the old town or the Port, as well as those down by the lovely beach - Moraira is a 20 minute drive and well worth a visit - Denia is also close by - you will need a car. It is a great place for a family holiday - highly recommended.
