Home description

Casa Olivo is a spacious detached villa, located in the La Cala area of Javea, close to the beauty spots of Cabo de la Nao and La Granadella. This is a quiet residential area, yet within easy reach of facilities; several restaurants, a supermarket and tennis club are within 1-2kms, while the lively Arenal area of Javea with its sandy beach, bars and restaurants, is approximately 5km, and the attractive port area and old town of Javea are a 10 minute drive away. Casa Olivo is laid out on one level, but there is a half flight of steps up from the off street parking area to the villa front door/pool level.

There is a large living/dining room, with patio doors opening on to a shaded 'naya' overlooking the pool. Outside, the naya is ideal for relaxing and dining in the shade. The private 8m x 4m swimming pool with roman steps, and terrace for sunbathing are set within private gated landscaped gardens.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Javea is situated in the North of the Costa Blanca and enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, with long, sunny and warm summer days, and a cooling sea breeze that takes the heat out of even the hottest of days.


Javea / La Cala, Javea area

The beaches of Barraca and local beauty spot of La Grandella are within 2-3 minutes drive. The main Arenal beach is 5-10 minutes drive away, and this is a safe, large, flat sandy beach, ideal for children.
Javea Golf Club's 9 hole course is located appproximately 10 minutes away between Javea and Benitachell. The La Sella Golf Club is situated approximately 20 minutes away, and is the premier 18 hole course in the area.
Casa Olivo is approximately 30 minutes drive from the theme park attractions of Benidorm (Aqualandia, Mundomar, Terra Mitica, Terra Natura).

The villa is situated half way between either Alicante or Valencia airport. Both airports are serviced by scheduled/low cost and charter airlines, although Valencia tends to offer slightly cheaper fares. A car is essential, and all of the major car hire companies operate from either airport, or can be found in Javea.

Bedroom 1 has a king size bed; Bedroom 2 a double, and bedroom 3 has two single beds. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and ceiling fans . The en-suite comprises of a shower with WC and basin to Bedroom 1. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and WC. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer.

The utility room has a washing machine, iron, ironing board and vacuum. The lounge is comfortably furnished with two sofas, dining room table and 6 chairs, cable television (BBC/ITV/Sky News/Ceebies), DVD player, Playstation and Mini CD system (PLEASE BRING AUDIO LEAD FOR iPOD). Gas central heating is available for the cooler autumn/winter evenings.

The gardens are fully landscaped, with a flat grass area on one side, and planted gravelled areas around the rest of the property. The 8m x 4m swimming pool with roman steps is south facing and attracts the sun all day. Pool lights can be turned on but turn off automatically after a period of time. There are six luxury sun loungers, and a large parasol for shade on the sun terrace. By the pool you will also find a solar outdoor shower. The covered naya has a dining table that comfortably seats 6, and the villa is also equipped with a small barbecue.

A 20% non-refundable deposit of the total holiday price is required on reservation, with balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure, together with a refundable security deposit of £150.

For 2 week holidays we also offer a change of laundry half way through your stay at a cost of £50, and a meet and greet service also can be available on arrival to the villa at a cost of £20, these are both available from our villa managers, and will be deducted from security deposit on your return.
