Villa Delfino is a luxury 4 bedroomed villa in an exclusive area of Javea, a short walking distance to La Falzia Viewpoint, from where there are magnificent views of the sea and La Barraca beach.
The villa is south facing with beautiful gardens and fully hedged ensuring privacy. The large 10 x 5 metre, optionally heated, swimming pool has 'roman steps' with children’s slide. Comfortably furnished with a large and sunny open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area with double doors opening up to the garden and naya. On the ground floor there is one double bedroom leading to a terrace, and full en-suite bathroom (separate shower cubicle). On the first floor there is one double bedroom with full en-suite shower room with balcony overlooking the gardens, pool and country views. Two bedrooms each with twin beds one with balcony access and one further separate bathroom with shower. The villa's covered and uncovered terraces provide an excellent setting for al-fresco dining.
The villa is situated in a quiet and peaceful setting overlooking a pine forest towards the end of a cul de sac in the El Cabo area of Javea near to Mar Azul. It is 50m from the viewpoint at La Falzia that overlooks the beautiful island of Portichol and the L'Arenal beach in Javea is only 15 minutes away by car.

There are two 'Master Suites' both with ensuite facilities. The first master bedroom has a Super King Size bed and patio doors leading to it's own private terrace. The second master bedroom has a King Size bed also with access to a terrace overlooking the swimming pool and with views towards Jalon. Both perfect for that late glass of wine. The third bedroom has twin adult beds 105 x 200 also with access to terrace, whilst the fourth bedroom has two beds 90 x 190. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes and are fitted with individual air conditioning units to ensure maximum comfort during those hot nights.

The Costa Blanca has a wonderful all round climate with mild winters and warm summers cooled by Mediterranean breezes, making it the perfect location no matter what time of the year you choose to visit. It is declared by the World Health Organisation as having a near perfect environment. Known as the White Coast there are hundreds of beautiful coves with Blue Flag status stretched along a spectacular coastline. The area is renowned for its agriculture with inland valleys full of orange and lemon groves, vineyards and almond trees, whilst the mountain slopes are covered by cypress and pine forests. Javea is within easy drive of many well known places such as Denia, Moraira, Calpe, Altea, Jalon Valley & Guadalest. Alicante and Valencia are great cities to explore and are both just over an hours drive away. Benidorm provides theme parks, clubs, shopping, beaches and bars catering for all tastes.
The Javea / El Cabo area
Javea boasts a beautiful coastline and is set against the backdrop of the fabulous Montgo mountain.
The town is divided into three main areas,
The historic old town with narrow streets with St Bartolome Church, the Town Hall and a Covered Market as well as many traditional local shops.
The Port area, home of the Javea Fishing Fleet a vibrant area with pavement cafes and restaurants and a clean pebble beach.
The L'Arenal, the beach area, a popular destination due to its Blue Flag status and only 15 minutes away by car . It is a wide sandy bay, safe for children and families The wide promenade offering a wide variety of shops, bars and excellent restaurants. At night there are many artisan market stalls.
During the summer months there are temporary beachbars erected on the front line between the Port and Arenal providing a great holiday ambience and there are also numerous festivals throughout the year.
In addition there are many local beaches nearby including La Barraca and Granadella.
At Jesus Pobre is the 27 hole course of the Marriott La Sella Golf and Spa Resort, the 9 hole (2x9 for 18) Javea Golf Club is closest and offers a beautiful and manicured course. Both courses are challenging and offer great views. The Club de Golf Ifach near Moraira towards Calpe is another demanding 9 hole with fabulous views of Ifach. Other courses include the 18 hole Seve Ballasteros designed Club de Golf Oliva about 25 kms away and just south of Valencia is the famous links course of El Saler.

We spent a week at this beautiful villa in Javea with our two sons, their partners and our two granddaughters and were truly delighted with the entire experience. We booked our holiday at relatively short notice and found Lesley at Westbeck most helpful from the outset. The reservation process was straightforward, with plenty of advance information to help us to plan and prepare for the holiday. Our arrival at the villa was troublefree, having collected our keys exactly as instructed by Westbeck. Our first sight of the property was memorable - we arrived in beautiful sunshine and were thrilled with all aspects of the villa. The pool area, constantly bathed in sunshine, was where we spent the majority of our week and the girls, aged 8 and 13, couldn't wait to get up each morning to jump in, usually via the great waterslide. There were lots of pool toys available, which encouraged us to add to that collection in order leave them for the benefit of other guests - no need, as we had done, to travel with bulky floats, etc. Our evenings were spent on the terrace, which was beautiful and very comfortably furnished. The whole area was amazingly quiet and relaxing and, although in a street with lots of other fine houses, the tranquility was so welcome. The house was extremely well equipped and was spotlessly clean. We were surprised to receive a mid-week clean, with fresh bedding and towels, and we can only highly commend the staff for looking after us so well. Our sons (one of whom is a sound engineer by profession) were particularly impressed with the quality of the sound system in the property and they thoroughly enjoyed watching sport, etc., on the great TV. The villa, situated in an elevated position and not on a bus route, is a fair distance from the main town of Javea, thus cars are essential. The main town is beautiful - clean, safe and with a lovely waterfront and numerous excellent restaurants. It was good to visit a property which, if anything, looked even better than it did on the website and did "what it said on the tin" - in fact, it offered so much more! We very much wish to return to Casa Delfino in the near future, as it suited us perfectly in every sense of the word. Our thanks to the owner for the property's high standard and to the agents for their invaluable help. A truly great experience and we would have no hesitation in recommending this to fellow travellers. |
