Lovely 2 bedroom garden apartment situated on the sought after San Esteban complex of 44 privately owned properties. Large private terrace and private garden lead to the magnificent communal gardens and large swimming pool with a separate area for toddlers. Al fresco dining is what this apartment was created for and with a large, modern supermarket within a three minute walk there is every opportunity to create wonderful meals in superb surroundings. For those who prefer to dine out there are numerous bars and restaurants within a ten minute walk of the apartment. For the more energetic holidaymakers most watersports are available locally as are several golf courses.

The apartment comprises 2 twin bedded rooms with built in wardrobes, full bathroom, fitted kitchen, large lounge/diner with lounge and dining seating for four people, entrance hall, large terrace and private garden. There is a security intercom system from the main door to the apartment. Extensive parking is available outside the apartment on the road. The apartment is served by a cable TV system which shows UK TV programmes. The property has independent air conditioning units serving both bedrooms and the lounge/diner.

Private sun loungers are available for those wishing to really relax. The private terrace is gated to the private garden. The swimming pool is large and there is a toddlers area.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

With it's rugged coastline and mountainous backdrop Javea is a spectacular place. It is also quite close to a number of other places of interest such as the splendid city of Valencia, home to the America's Cup in 2007. Valencia really is a 'must see' city. For those who do not wish to travel that far we are only 40 minutes from the theme parks of Benidorm. If you take a trip to Denia, some fifteen minutes by car (or you could go by boat) you can catch a ferry to the islands of Ibiza and Majorca- indeed on a clear day there are wonderful views to Ibiza from many parts of Javea. A 20 minute drive takes you into the Jalon valley with it's wondrous scenery, bodegas and rural restaurants.

The Javea / San Esteban area

With around 320 days of sunshine each year the Javea area has a very appealing climate. Classified as 'near perfect' by the World Health Organisation the microclimate has proven very beneficial to many people with ailments. Javea, with it's three parts, the Casco Urbano (Old Town), Port and Arenal has something for everybody. The locals call it ' Amanecer de Espana, the ' dawn of Spain' because it occupies the most easterly point overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Javea is a working Port and is where people from many parts of northern Europe come to make their home. Javea's history includes the defeat of the Moors by King Jaime in 1244 and San Bartolome Church has an inner wall dating from this time. Javea has many fiestas starting with Los Reyes ( Three Kings) on the night of 5th January , through the Hogueras de San Juan in June, the Moors and Christians in July and the Port Fiesta in September. Besides these main fiestas a number of others take place and if you are here in Javea in the Summer months you will almost certainly see part of one of our fiestas.

Javea is situated roughly half way between the cities of Alicante and Valencia which both have International airports. The approximate journey time from either airport to the apartment is one hour and twenty minutes. Both airports are served by low cost airlines such as Easy Jet and Ryan Air, together with carriers such as British Airways and Iberia.

“Great location with excellent pool area and grounds” We really enjoyed our holiday at San Esteban, Bob & Gaye (property management) were fantastic, most helpful and friendly. The property is ideal for a family with young children, on the ground floor next to the pool. The Port is within a 10-15 min walk, we also enjoyed relaxing at the local beach bars which were only 5 minutes from the apartment. The grounds and pool area are large and well kept, never busy (even in August) however other children were there to keep mine occupied. Javea is a beautiful location, we like the fact it is still a very Spanish resort, we will be returning next year!

“3yr in a row in San Esteban, we love it” Great quiet complex, ideal location for Port and Arenal restuarants (10/15 min walk). Well maintained. 3rd year in Javea, 2nd year in San Esteban, 1st year in this apartment. Apartment was well equiped , agency responded well to any problems.Terrace and Garden location ideal for young kids. Lazy days spent at the pool with many great meals in the evening. Air Conditioning an added bonus....only improvement I would make is an upgrading of bathroom however this has not stopped us from booking again for next year.

Payment is accepted by sterling cheque or by bank transfer. In all instances a £150 security deposit is required with all bookings. This is refundable within 3 weeks of vacating the property. A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due eight weeks prior to your arrival date. We do not charge extra for a final clean but expect the apartment to be left in a clean and tidy condition.
