About the home

The apartment which includes the use of a quiet communal pool is convenient for all activities, yet also in a quite and peaceful location to relax in. It is located only a few minutes walk to the Arenal beach which is extremely clean, safe and child friendly. The esponade running along the beach is traffic free and has a multitue of bars, cocktail lounges and restaurants to a high standard. Local supermarkets, shops and medical centres are also only several minutes walk away ( no car required ).

For the family, go-karting, a small fun fair and crazy golf is again within two minutes walk and there are also two golf courses close by; Javea golf club ( 5 minute drive ) and La Sella golf club ( 15 minutes drive ).
Javea Old Town and Javea Port are several minutes car drive away or a 30 minute walk away. Here the more traditional side of Spain can be found, along with many tapas bars, musems and galleries. The Old Town and Port also hold a numbers of traditional Spanish fiestas throughout the year.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Javea is located in the North of the Costa Blanca region, approximately half way between Valancia and Alicante. You will not find package holidays available from the UK in this region, this gives the region a more traditional Spanish feel.

In summer you can expect temperatures around 35c. During the short winter (6 to 8 weeks) the temperature tends to be quite mild and rarely drops below 16 degrees during the day and is often in the twenties.

The Javea / Arenal area

This select, beautiful and well preserved seaside town is ideal for visitors of all ages.
Javea consists of three distinct area's. The "Arenal" beach, the "Port" and the "Old Town".
The Arenal, with it's magnificent beach and palm tree lined promenade is nearby and is wonderful for sunbathing and safe swimming. There are dozens of good restaurants and bars along the promenade with a large variety to cater for all tastes. Mexican, Chinese, traditional Spanish, Indian, Indonesian, Italian, even good old fish and chips. At night, craft stalls are set up and there are many amusements to keep both adults and children entertained.
The "Port" area is around fifteen minutes walk from the "Arenal" beach and has more good quality bars, restaurants and some excellent gift shops. A bustling, hive of activity, the Port has great character and has retained all of its Spanish "feel" of years gone by. Rod fishing off the pier or the rocks is very popular and if you don't catch anything you can always buy fresh fish from the nightly fish markets.
Like the Port, the "Old Town" has maintained it's whitewashed buildings and narrow streets. Typically spanish, there is always something going on, lively fiestas, and street markets.
This friendly, upmarket holiday destination with its great atmosphere offers a wide range of activities. These include Golf, sailing, swimming, scuba diving, water skiing, wind surfing, cycling, tennis, jet ski, go-karting or quieter pursuits, snorkeling, coarse fishing, bird watching, walking and horse riding all of which makes this a very popular choice with holiday makers of all ages.
