Casa Contenta is a luxurious villa perfectly located just a few minutes away from Javea's main beach, and has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The villa benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a fabulous covered terrace (naya) beautifully furnished with table and chairs for 10 people to dine al fresco. With two double and three twin bedrooms, the villa is ideal for larger families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.
Outside the spacious gardens are flat - ideal for sunbathing or a game of table tennis!

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Located between Alicante and Valencia Javea is the perfect place for the discerning visitor. With an excellent climate Javea enjoys more than 325 sunny days each year. The weather in summer in Javea is typically very hot with little to no rainfall. Summer temperatures in Javea will mostly be between 25 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius during the day. Temperatures at night in the summer in Javea rarely drop below 15 degrees Celsius.
JaveaTown is split into 3 areas
•The Old town, Javea Pueblo, located slightly inland (Thursday Market Day)
•The harbour, Javea Puerto,
•Playa de Arenal (a large sandy beach)
The Javea district is located in the in the North East section of the Marina Alta area of Spain. It is in the Valley of the river Gorgos starting just east of the town, Gata de Gorgos
The valley is extemly fertile and many agricultural skills were introduced by the Moors.
The district includes the hilltops that range north & south of the valley that lead to the rocky headlands (capes) of Cap de Antonio in the north & Cap Prim, Cap Negre & Cap de la Nau.
All theses Capes produce dramatic rocky scenrery & magnificent views to such a degree the the council has provided 15 viewpoints (Mirados), most of which are set up along the beautiful coastline.

Golfing Information
Within 5 minutes drive of the villa is Javea Golf Club situated between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72 and 3,035 metres. The course is easy to play and relatively flat. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant. The Olazabal designed La Sella Golf Course is 10-15 minutes drive inland . The course has 18 holes, par 72 and is 6,029 metres. The course although flat has many trees and water obstacles and presents a very good challenge. Facilities include: driving range, putting green, motorised trolleys, club bar, lounge bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Both Javea and La Sella clubs have tennis and squash courts. Within a half hour drive north in Oliva is Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing course 18 holes, par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre

A great place to relax with our family. The villa was just perfect, superb veranda to relax both in the daytime to get out of the sun, and in the evening to enjoy a family meal. Garden and pool perfect. The villa was clean and well laid out with all modern amenities available. It was so good the gather on the veranda that we rarely used the lounge. A great location close enough to walk to the centre but very peaceful with great views of the mountains. Thanks to both Simon and Elly in making it a great family occasion. Just got back from Casa Contenta and only one word describes it, fantastic! From the moment we arrived we knew we made the right choice. We travelled as a family group of 9, 5 adults and 4 children. There is plenty of space for everybody. The outside areas are lovely to sit out in and the views from the naya across the valley to the distant hills are beautiful. Many bottles of Rioja disappeared while watching the sunset. The swimming pool is nice and clean and very welcoming, it gets the sun all day as well. The villa is situated in a very quiet area with literally no traffic noise at all, but a 20 minute walk will take you to the 'Arenal' where you will find an abundance of good restaurants and bars if you feel like livening things up a bit. The villa has everything you need for chilling out an having great holiday, and I hope we will be back soon in the near future. A big thankyou to Simon and Elly. Travellled as a group for the F1 at Valencia. Stayed in the villa for one week and can not recommend it enough, it was perfect. Lovely throughout, modern bedrooms and bathrooms, it had everything you could need. Fabulous outdoor areas, large pool, large terrace to eat on, great area out the back (grassed). Set within a lovely residental area. Javea is a gorgous town, trendy bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach. Owners wonderful to deal with and great communication.
