Casa Jayjay is a light, airy, modern villa, completed in September 2004 to a high specification. It is situated in the Monte de Javea area close to the beautiful cove of Granadella and the spectacular coastline that surrounds the Cabo la Nao headland. There are a few good restaurants, a tennis club/cafe bar and a mini-market within walking distance whilst the bars, restaurants and the main beach area of Javea are less than 10 minutes drive away. The villa enjoys lovely views over Granadella National Park and of Montgo, Javea's signature mountain.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
If you have been to Javea before, you will know that it has much to offer. If you haven’t then you are in for a treat. Situated between the Cabo San Antonio and Cabo La Nao headlands on the Northern Costa Blanca, Javea is an up-market resort which has managed to remain relatively small, and in so doing has retained much of its character and beauty, whilst providing all the facilities and activities necessary to appeal to the discerning holidaymaker. Javea can be divided into three main areas, the old town, the port and the beach.
Javea / Costa Nova area
The old town of Javea sits at the base of Montgo and has not been touched to a large extent by tourism. It is characterised by narrow streets, traditional restaurants, shops and bars. It has a fine old church and market hall at its centre.
The port of Javea is a small town within a town with its fishing harbour, modern marina, numerous bars and restaurants, interesting shops and small beach. The place buzzes with activity, especially on a warm summer’s evening. From here you can take a boat trip to the neighbouring resorts of Denia and Calpe.
The third main area of Javea is El Arenal, the beach area. This is a horseshoe shaped bay with calm shallow sea and soft sand making it perfect for families. Volley-ball nets, climbing frames, water rafts, pedaloes, sunbeds and parasols are all available during the summer months. A seafront promenade borders the beach offering many bars, restaurants, boutiques and a couple of nightclubs.
To the south of the bay are the headlands of Cabo St Martin and Cabo La Nao. The scenery around these headlands is truly spectacular and there are a number of rocky coves to explore. One of these is Granadella which is a small horseshoe cove with clear blue sea and pebble beach, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. A couple of restaurants offer refreshments during the season.
The villa is situated close to Granadella on the Cabo La Nao headland. This is a quiet area being populated by residential villas, a few restaurants and other local amenities. Although the villa is in an elevated position and therefore enjoys lovely views, the terrain in the area is relatively flat so it is possible to take a pleasant stroll to one of the local restaurants/bars, the tennis club, supermarket or to simply enjoy the fantastic scenery that abounds. The Arenal area is less than 10 minutes from the villa by car.
THINGS TO DO AND PLACES TO GO
Javea is perfect to enjoy a relaxing holiday but also provides facilities for those who want to do more.
The waters around Javea are ideal for watersports including diving, snorkelling, jet and water skiing. The are superb walks in the area that are rewarded by wonderful views. You can hire a boat to explore the fascinating coastline or to go fishing. Javea has its own golf course, just 10 minutes from the villa and the internationally reknowned La Sella course is within a 20 minute drive. Javea offers much to occupy the visitor but, if you wish to travel further afield there is plenty to do and see.
The nearby resorts of Moraira, Calpe and Denia (from where you can catch a ferry to Ibiza) are well worth a visit as is the historic and beautiful city of Valencia which is just over an hour away. Take a short drive away from the coast and you will experience the quaint villages and breathtaking views of the Sierra Bernia mountains. Although different in character from Javea, Benidorm is just 40 minutes down the motorway where children of all ages can enjoy the theme and water parks.

Further details indoors: The owners have taken great care in equipping and furnishing the house to a high standard so that you have everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. There is cable TV (all main UK TV and radio channels), Internet Access, DVD/CD player, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave etc. There are 3 twin bedrooms all with air conditioning, large built-in wardrobes and en-suite facilities.
Further details outdoors: The villa is enclosed within its own gardens and is accessed via electrically operated gates. The covered terrace (naya) and three open terraces provide for sun and/or shade all day long. The swimming pool terrace is gated so that young children can be denied access when required. There is a large BBQ and quality outdoor dining furniture, sunloungers and parasols are provided.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. When a booking overlaps price bands or include part of a week, the rate will be calculated ona pro-rata basis.
A 25% deposit is required on booking and the balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.
The electricity consumption for the air conditioning is metered separately and will be charged for at the prevailing rate.
A refundable security deposit of £200 is required with the final payment.
Bedding and towels are provided and changed weekly. Guests are asked to provide their own towels for pool/beach use.
