The Valenciana region
Voted by the World Health Organisation as having a near perfect climate. 300 days a year of sunshine, stunning scenery, private coves, numerous beaches and historic and cosmopolitan towns mingle to give this area its distinctive flavour.
It is perhaps surprising that anyone should want to wander beyond the boundaries of Javea with its abundance of natural beauty spots, a paradise for walkers, and numerous activities from watersports to horse riding all within easy reach, and yet with so much on offer why limit yourselves?
For those wishing to explore attractions further afield, the vibrant towns of Valencia and Alicante offer a fascinating mix of history and commercialism and for the young at heart there are numerous theme parks waiting to be explored. From Terra Mitica where you can sail the Nile and face the Minotaur to Terra Natura, an interactive wildlife park incorporating the Aqua Natura water park, the possibilities are endless.
The low rise resort of Javea with its three distinct areas boasts something for everyone. From those seeking the culture of the old town with its 15th century gothic church, narrow winding alleys and ancient buildings that house the numerous shops and tapas bars, to the families of sunseekers who while away their hours on the blue flag Arenal beach and wander the bustling promenade. To those who explore the working port with its numerous bars and restaurants, the hub of activity at fiesta time, whichever you choose La Guardia park offers the perfect base.
Only minutes by car and yet well away from the hustle and bustle of summer this is your opportunity to relax in luxury.

"A bad smell and no sleep"
On entering the house we immediately encountered a musty smell which permeated throughout the whole house. We found the cause to be within a bedroom. There was a discolouration on the external wall to that room. The house required MUCH ventilation doing our stay!
Our sleep was disturbed every night by creaking and cracking sounds emanating from the roof area. The cause of these sounds appeared to come from plastic tubes and panels assembled on the roof which was intended to solar-heat the pool. The first few nights water could be heard running through this contraption, due to the pump-timer being incorrectly set. Even after the timer was adjusted, the noises continued.
The villa owner arranged for the pool cleaner to attend, but unfortunately for us he was unable to resolve the problem.
After a week of disturbed sleep, my wife and I returned home exhausted, and in need of a a holiday.
it is unfortunate when any problems are encountered but we are unable to resolve any issues that are unreported. No musty smell was reported and this would be highly unusual as the villa had been fully occupied for the previous 4 months. No wall discolouration has since been discovered on further examination. We pride ourselves on dealing with any issues arising as soon as possible and were therefore able to call on our experienced manager and pool maintenance company to attend within 4 hours of initial complaint and it was effectively resolved witin 24. We were also able- despite our concerns that the villa may be too warm as it was 25 degree- within 4 hours, to respond to further complaints that the air conditioning unit in the lounge would not blow hot air. This again was immediately resolved although the option of using the fully functioning central heating was also available. We make every effort to ensure that our guests have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience
at the villa, as our other reviews attest, and reiterate that every complaint was and is taken seriously and responded to immediately, no matter how unusual as in this case.

"Fantastic villa and service."
As usual we were not disappointed with the quality of this villa.
The villa is in a peaceful location with a few restaurants, bars and convenience stores within walking distance, although a car is essential (as indicated on the website)! "

"An outstanding property don't look elsewhere!"
The pictures really don't do this place justice! The property is very spacious, the pool amazing esp the slide (even for adults!), and it's very clean and has everything you could need for a fantastic holiday! Sam the owner is very prompt in replying to emails and offering support even while away! Keith the property manager is lovely and very helpful! we needed his services to locate the nearest doctor as our little one was poorly. Keith drove us to the hospital and waited until we had been seen so we could get back safely! Outstanding service and outstanding villa! Thank you for making our first holiday abroad with a baby so special!

"A wonderful stylish villa."
Four of us stayed here for two weeks.
Sam was extremely helpful with the booking, especially as I am partially disabled.
The villa is immaculate and the pool and garden a delight.
We were very lucky with the weather, and the solar heated pool was superb.
The kitchen was well equipped and having full satellite TV and DVD was an added bonus.
Of course the villa is a short drive from the town, so a car is essential, but there is so much to see in the area.
We would recommend a stay here to anyone...book early!
