Los Molinos villa is built on a hillside in a peaceful residential area above the attractive seaside town of Javea, with fabulous unobstructed views across the valley to the sea and the mountains, only five minutes by car from the sandy beach and within a few minutes’ drive of many picturesque coves and bays.
This lovely house has everything you could wish for, to spend a comfortable and stress-free holiday, including a twice-weekly cleaning service, so you can relax, enjoy the view and dream in the sun. There are comfortable sun loungers around the pool with big sun umbrellas, a barbecue with its own refrigerator and lots of space to stretch out and relax.
The villa is on two floors with spectacular sea and mountain views and is situated so that you see both the sunrise and the sunset from all five bedrooms and both sitting rooms - one bedroom opens straight onto the pool patio. There are four twin bedrooms and one smaller room with bunk beds and all have excellent new mattresses. There are two cots and a high chair for toddlers for families with small children.
A very peaceful house with a feeling of space, the villa is a real home from home with many extras to make for a relaxed and restful holiday. We even provide a beach umbrella and mats – and the all-important cooler - for when you want to go down to the beach. There is an indoor dining room that seats ten, but you can also eat on the spacious, sunny upstairs terrace with the amazing view spread out before you. Or you can eat in the shade at the large table next to the lovely pool - or have breakfast on the sunny terrace opening off the kitchen.
The barbecue is conveniently located near the pool and has its own refrigerator so you can have a ready supply of cool drinks as you take the sun. However there are two restaurants within 500 m of the house if you prefer not to cook and don't want to drive down to the beach.
For the sports enthusiasts the tennis and squash club is five minutes by car and there are two golf courses twenty minutes away. Aqualandia water park and Terra Mitica theme park are 40 minutes away in Benidorm, and if you want to visit Ibiza you can make a day-trip from next-door Denia.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
With sunshine nearly every day of the year the southern part of the Costa Blanca can sometimes appear arid and brown but Javea is a haven of green with pine woods and orange groves and thousands of silver-leaved olive trees. Inhabited since paleolithic times Javea is an intriguing mixture of old and new, with the narrow streets of the white-washed old town nestled at the foot of Montgo mountain, the bustling area of the fishing port, the holiday atmosphere of the beach area and the hundreds of villas dotted over the pine-covered hillsides.
There are very few hotels as most properties are private villas with pools, making this a popular destination for families seeking a self-catering holiday. Javea is now a busy modern town in the summer and a quiet retreat in the winter months when many retired couples take long-term lets to escape the cold northern winters. 40 minutes away is Benidorm with its water park and Terra Mitica theme park and along the coast, as well as inland, are many attractive little villages to explore.
The Javea / Tosalet area
Javea offers sailing classes for the kids, boat rentals for water skiing and scuba diving with professionals. The town celebrates lots of fiestas and any excuse is good for a fantastic firework display. The biggest ones are the fiesta of fire in June where you can jump over the bonfires and run with the bulls, the Moors and Christians in July with its colourful processions of sword wielding Moors, the Living Chess Game in July, the Jazz Festival in August and the fiestas of the port in September where bulls and bull runners can end up in the sea!
Visit the Thursday market in the old town to buy fresh vegetables, clothes, leather goods and souvenirs, or drive up to one of the lighthouses and admire the breathtaking views down the coast and catch a glimpse of Ibiza on a clear day. From nearby Denia you can even take a ferry and make a day trip to Ibiza.
Javea offers a huge array of places to eat, from pizzas and hamburgers to the finest international cuisine, and after dark there are plenty of places next to the sea to have a cocktail, listen to music and dance until dawn.

We had a great time in the villa! The villa has all you need for nice, relaxing and hasle free stay. The views from the villa are stunning and having a BBQ or dinning in the villa is just great! The villa is 5 minutes drive from Javea town/beach, restaurants, shops, supermarkets which are in a close range. If you staying in this area - stay in villa Los Molinos! We found ourselves relaxing more and more each day with no real need to even leave the property other than for grocery shopping. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill which we found the meat counter was very well stocked and ideal for the barbecue. We found a car was a necessity for staying at Los Molinos but that wasn't a problem, there is also an Aldi on the run up to the property which was great for basics. The lady who keeps an eye on the property and cleans it is more than helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Los Molinos is now a little piece of heaven to us, so much so that we're heading back again this year. An absolutely amazing villa, which the pictures do not do justice to. The villa is huge, with 2 separate living areas, one upstairs (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living area with balcony) and one downstairs (2 bedrooms, bathroom, TV area/sitting room, and access to pool area). As well as this, the owner has provided literally everything you may possibly need for your trip, including: beach mats, beach toys and games, plenty of cutlery and crockery, TV and DVDS, board games, books, well stocked barbecue area with its own plastic plates and glasses and sink area, Wi-Fi, stair gates, cots, high chairs and booster seats, and more. There were even biscuits, tea, coffee, milk and soft drinks provided as a welcome pack. There is excellent security provided, and there is room to park 3 or even 4 cars. The owner is extremely helpful and I was in regular contact with her. She was able to provide ideas for trips, local restaurants, even the nearest supermarket. You can tell that she is very keen for her guests to have a fantastic time. Whilst we were there, we were looked after by her representative who was nearby in case we needed any more advice or help. As for the area, Javea is beautiful and much bigger than it initially seems. The Arenal beach is excellent, with a number of brilliant restaurants. Javea also seems to have its own micro-climate - whilst all the surrounding towns had rain or cloud, Javea always seemed bright and clear. The locals are extremely friendly and will speak in English if your Spanish fails you. The surrounding area is also lovely, particularly Denia, with Allicante and Valencia just an hour away. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We went as a group of 7 adults, 1 child and 2 babies and we all had a wonderful time. We all hope to visit again next year.
