The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Javea has a choice of beaches for those seeking water sports such as wind surfing, jet biking or sailing. The warm seas are perfect for diving, snorkeling and water skiing. Go-karting and quad- biking are also available. The Costa Blanca has many renowned golf courses with 9 hole courses in Javea ,Moiraira and Altea,an 18 hole internationally renowned course at La Sella and the Seve Balesteros designed course at Oliva around 30 minutes away. There are also very good courses at Valencia and Alicante, in particular the famous 18-hole championship links course at El Saler, for those who don’t mind a drive before a round.There are many other sporting activities with football, tennis, bowls etc- you name it and it's never too far away.Apart from the sporting activities there is plenty for the family to do should they get bored with the swimming pool and beaches. Less than 30 minutes away there are many attractions for all ages including a Vergel safari park, Mundomar animal water park, Aqualandia theme swimming park and Terra Natura animal park and 'Terra Mitica' a fun park, boasting some of the largest rides in Europe.
Javea / La Guardia Park area
Javea has it all : sandy beaches, great restaurants and bars, authentic Spanish culture, a lovely old town, a bustling port -altogether a place you will want to return to year after year. Bathed by the Mediterranean sea and sheltered from the continental winds by Mount Montgo,it is no wonder that the World Health Organization selected Javea as having a near-perfect climate for longevity. Although Javea is cosmopolitan it is still Spanish without a high-rise package tour hotel in sight. The villa is set in a quiet cul-de-sac amongst other up-market villas tucked amongst the native pine forest. It is a haven of peace and tranquility from the summer hustle and bustle, yet within easy reach of all the holiday facilities that Javea has to offer. There are several excellent restaurants only a few minutes walk away together with bars, a supermarket and tennis courts. The area immediatly surrounding the villa offers many beautiful walks with several viewing points which, without exception, provide breathtaking views of the cliffs and coves allowing access to the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. These idyllic bays of la Granadella, la Barraca and Ambolo are ideal for swimming, snorkeling and diving and most have beach bars and restaurants.The stunning scenic headland of Cap de la Nao around the corner is Spain’s most easterly point and on a clear day it is possible to see all the way to Ibiza over 100 km’s away. Less than 5 minutes drive are the lively beach areas of the Arenal with the port and old town beyond.
How to get there
The villa is just over an hours drive from either Alicante or Valencia airports.Both these airports are served by low cost airlines such as Easyjet, Monarch and Ryan Air flying from many locations in the the UK. .Car hire can be arranged in advance and the vehicle collected from the airport.Although a car is recommended it is not essential due to the villas superb location.An airport transfer service is available for 85 Euros from Alicante and 90 Euros from Valencia for up to 8 adults and their luggage There is a local bus service which runs to the Arenal,the port and the old town and there is a train service close by which travels down the scenic coastline with stops at Calpe,Altea and Benidorm before terminating at Alicante.where there are many attractions and places to see and enjoy.

The villa has ceiling fans in the 2 main bedrooms (with en-suite) together with the lounge and dining rooms.In addition there are several free-standing fans provided.Although there is no air-conditioning the villa has been designed and built to be cool enough to provide comfortable temperatures for guests during the summer months. The villa has full double glazed windows, gas central heating throughout and a stone fireplace in the lounge for the cooler months making it an ideal winter let. High chairs and cots are available on request.
