About the home

Lovely pool and terraces offering fantastic open views. Comfortable villa on two floors. The ideal holiday home to chill out.

Javea has a wonderful beach and many pretty coves. Within half hour drive is Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park) for fun days out & Benidorm Palace (cabaret show).

Villa Les Oliviers in Javea is situated in a wonderful south facing position on Mt Montgo. This two storey villa has a large (10 x 5) swimming pool and offers fantastic views across the valleys to the mountains in the distance.
The terrace is partly covered, partly open, and furnished with table and chairs, with plenty of room for sun loungers for those wishing to relax up here rather than by the pool. The views from the terrace are wonderful. The edge of the terrace is protected with flower troughs about 50cms high.

The villa is on two levels, with the living area and one bedroom upstairs and the other two bedrooms downstairs.

Steps go up to the front door and this leads in to a small entrance hall and then to the large lounge and dining room. This is well furnished featuring a beamed ceiling and stone fireplace. A door goes out to the very large terrace.

Also off the entrance hall, is the small but well equipped kitchen.
At the far end of the lounge a small passage goes to a double bedded room and separate shower room with walk-in shower.

A staircase (without handrail) goes down to the lower level with a double bedded room, twin bedded room and family bathroom.

The pool is reached by the steps from the front door. There is an extensive paved terrace around the swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers and a parasol.

The grounds around the villa are terraced and planted with olive trees.
Because of the number of steps inside and outside the villa we do not consider it suitable for those with walking or breathing difficulties, nor is the villa suitable for small children, not only because of the steps but also because the upper terrace does not have a railing or ballustrade and is protected by plant troughs.
The property is gated with off-road covered parking for 2 cars.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And more locally, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

The Javea / Montgo area

Jávea has long been the destination of choice for discerning visitors who are not interested in mass-market resorts. Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Each year Jávea celebrates several fiestas. Ones not to be missed are San Juan, June 18th to 24th, being the main fiesta of the 'old town'. The last night boasts a terrific firework display and the burning of a 'falla'. During July there is the colourful Moors and Christians festival and 1st to 8th September is the Virgen de Loreto, port fiestas. Not to be missed is the last night, 8th September, the firework display over the fishing port is spectacular.

“Quite mountain side location with valley views.” Not suitable for infirm people due to high number of steps and also for young children due to limited edge security on high level patio. Ideally located for a quite peacefull relaxing break. Stunning views whilst enjoying alfresco dining. Car required due to out of town location, small super market and restaurants reasonably close.

“A Wonderful Villa” On our arrival we found the villa to be very clean and comfortable. Although the location was slightly out of the way, the breathtaking views and peacefulness more than made up for it. We would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Les Oliviers or Aspects of Spain and would definitely consider staying there again in the future.
