Casa Barranco is a beautiful spacious detached finca built on a flat plot and nestling within the Jalon Valley, surrounded by vineyards and almond groves. The jalon valley is a great place for holidays as it is a very peaceful area with its spectacular scenery and views of the surrounding Bernia mountain range. Many an hour can be passed just relaxing whilst watching life go by! There are plenty of villages dotted around with lots of shops, markets, bars and restaurants for you to explore. The beaches and more touristy towns are only a short drive away.
Set within its own, private grounds Casa Barranco offers ample outside space with its gazebo area shaded by established vines and wooden outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining. It boasts a private 5m by 10m swimming pool. There are sun loungers and another garden table and chairs with parasol to provide secluded areas to sit and soak up the scenery.
The villa itself is a bright and spacious property which sleeps 6 people extremely comfortably. It has recently been renovated in a modern but rustic style, and is fully furnished to an extremely high standard. The accommodation comprises: large fully equipped kitchen with dining area to seat six people, spacious lounge with a log burning stove and huge corner sofa. There is a TV with DVD player with stereo system and a selection of music and films for you to while away the hours! There are two twin-bedded rooms with access to a spacious family shower room. The large master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room with bidet. All bedrooms have air- conditioned units and plenty of storage.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
This area of Spain is known for its long hot summers, warm and mild winters. Its coastline has some of Spain’s finest and most attractive beaches each surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars providing traditional Spanish cuisine and excellent Seafood.
Although holidaying in Jalon is a quiet, relaxing affair just a twenty minute drive away are the beaches of Calpe, Oliva and Denia along with the smaller coves and fishing villages which are dotted around. Also within a 20 minute drive are the busier resorts of Benidorm and Moraria for the more touristy attractions and theme parks. There are also plenty of shops and markets to explore.
Jalon / Lliber area
Jalon itself is a quiet Spanish town with an abundance of local bars, shops/supermarkets and restaurants and it is a pleasant 10 minute stroll from Casa Barranco. There is a Tuesday local market and on Saturdays there is a massive, traditional Spanish Rastro (flea market/car boot sale) for the bargain hunters!! Along with neighbouring towns and villages, Jalon hosts many fiestas throughout the year which are fantastic to see.
Lliber is a 5min drive across the valley with more little cafes, bars and restaurants to visit. Whilst exploring the area you will find many restaurants and bars dotted all around the valley to sample the local cuisine – many menus starting from around 8euros a head including bread and wine. Talking of wine - the Jalon valley is famed for its locally produced wine, it’s worth taking a day to visit the local bodegas and sample some!
There are lots of various attractions in the local area including walking, horse riding, cycling and mountain biking, go-karting, rock climbing, golf courses in Bennissa, Denia and Altea…and there is even a paragliding school in Parcent for those dare devils amongst you! If this isn’t enough for you local beaches provide a range of excellent watersports and boat trips. In essence whether it’s a relaxing, lazy or a more energetic break wanted – the Jalon valley is the ideal location!

Further details indoors: The house itself is built on one level with only one step to the front door and inside a step to the lounge and master bedroom.
Bedding and towels are provided. Please bring own beach towels. The villa will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Extra maid service is available at an additional cost if required. We ask guests not to smoke inside the villa but you can smoke to your hearts content outside!
Further details outdoors: The villa is reached by a lane to the main road, which also provides access to just two other villas nearby making the area very private, peaceful and quiet yet having the benefit of someone nearby for emergencies!
The private 10m x 5m illuminated swimming pool is accessed by Roman steps at the shallow end. The walled and level garden provides extra privacy and security. There is also an outside shower and toilet.
