Located only 10 minutes from the main square of Alcalali, the villa is ideal for those with small children. Boasting fabulous, private gardens and plenty of patio area, there is plenty of space to enjoy your holiday, either by yourself or with family and friends. Built on 2 levels the villas has a large 'L' shaped naya (balcony) which overlooks the private pool and the mountains beyond.
A perfect way to spend the evenings and watch the sun go down. Having accommodation for up to 10 people already there is additional accommodation, located to the lower level, for up to a further 4 people, upon request. Villa Verde is perfect for any kind of holiday due to its size and location and has frequently been used for birthday parties and wedding receptions.

The living accommodation is very open plan, creating a large, open space, most of which overlooks the beautiful views beyond. Having a separate dining room, overlooking the pool and the mountains, it is a wonderful room to enjoy breakfast or lunch or maybe simply catch up with a bit of work. Consisting of a large wooden table, with 8 chairs and a roof fan, it is ideal for family entertaining.
The kitchen has plenty of work space to prepare food and with 2 fridges, there is sufficient space to store food/drinks for a larger party.
The villa also benefits from a very large, open fire, which when lit, lights the room and makes it very cosy.
Al the rooms are all fitted with air conditioning units and there are also some free standing room fans for guest use.
The master bedroom has large patio doors that can be opened to let the outside in, a perfect way to welcome the early morning sunshine. Bedside cabinets to either side of the bed, with a set of very large drawers. A dressing table is also fitted between the fitted wardrobe to the master bedroom. An en-suite bathroom is located off this master bedroom, with bath, shower, sink and WC.
There are 2 other bedrooms with double beds, fitted wardrobes, drawers and bedside cabinets.
A further 2 bedrooms consists of 2 single beds in each room and again, fitted wardrobes, drawers and bedside cabinets.
All the bedrooms are spacious and clean and have shutter blinds to all windows should you need to use them.
The main bathroom has recently been refurbished with a new bathroom suite. In lovely contemporary colours and also fitted with a heated towel rail, this bathroom is fresh looking and spacious.
To the lower level of the property there are a further 2 bedrooms, of which can be used for additional guests upon prior agreement F.O.C (free of charge), a self contained kitchen, bathroom, games room and also a WC and shower for use when using the pool facilities. Access to this area is separate and by using the downstairs entrance.

Villa Verde is a very large property and what makes it feel very special is the size of the outside areas. The villa is surrounded by lots of space, including private sunbathing gardens, BBQ and eating areas. Perfect for those al fresco evenings in sunny Spain!
Having 2 separate driveways, both having private gates to the entrance, there is sufficient space for approximately 6 cars, providing secure parking.
There is a large 8m x 4m private swimming pool, with steps, for the sole use of guests. Fitted with lights, this makes a lovely picture in the evening and also extends the swimming time you have. Although the pool is not heated, having reached 30 degrees in the height of summer, its only those winter periods that makes the pool less attractive.
Although the property is not specifically adapted for wheelchair use, the fact that the property is so large and spread over 2 areas, with a little help, wheelchair access is easily possible.
There are outside lights surrounding the whole property and are operated from remote devices so you can adapt the lighting to your mood.
The villa is approximately 30 years old but it is well maintained with a gardener and pool man attending each week. Owned by a family, with older children but having friends with small children, Villa Verde is perfect for those individuals seeking time out, a perfect location, spectacular views or simply fun and laughter.
We believe that the villa should be a place for everyone to use and as such our prices reflect this. Despite the size of this property, we have based the rental cost on a figure to only include accommodation for the upper level and therefore 5 bedrooms (10 sleeping) and as such the lower level is offered F.O.C (free of charge). This extra space can be used for additional guests which when the villa is booked for quite a few families or numerous friends, the cost of rental is low.
We do provide linen and hand/bath towels but we do not provide beach towels. A charge from £60.00 is payable for arrival and departure cleaning and a fee of £10.00 per person for laundry is chargeable. This is over and above your rental fee as we believe by adding this as an extra, you are not paying a premium for laundry you are not using. There is a charge for air conditioning at £30.00 per week.
At the time of booking we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee and the balance is due 12 weeks before the start of your holiday. A security fee of £150.00 is also payable at the same time of your balance and is refundable once the property has been checked for damages to the property and/or its fixtures and fittings. Any breakages will be discussed with you prior to any deductions.
The prices are in Sterling. Half week's are charged as full week's rental.
The Costa Blanca/Valencia region
This is one of Spain's most popular areas. It is enchanting, exciting and infectious. This region stretches from Valencia, the city that invented Paella and who is proud of its tapas, includes Las Fallas - Europe's wildest spring festival - and is home to a 22nd century city of Arts and Sciences, south to city of Alicante, a bustling, bright port and holiday city with vibrant night life.
The coastline boasts some of Spain's finest beaches, as well as pleasant natural features such as La Albufera - a freshwater lake famous for its bird life, eels, flat bottom boats and surrounding restaurants. Charming towns such as Altea - one of the prettiest little villages on this coastline - as well as the Mecca capital for night life, Benidorm. Following the recent success of the TV series 'Benidrom', tourism has significantly increased in this area.
Anyone visiting this area, must take a day out and visit the Fonts De'Algar - it is a beautiful, natural and picturesque area, consisting of natural waterfalls and pools to swim in. This wonderful experience is situated close to Altea.
The Costa Blanca or the White Coast, has some wonderful places to visit and no matter how many times you will go there, you will never see it all. With beautiful towns, such as Javea, Denia, Moraira, Altea, Benissa and Calpe all approximately 30 minutes from Villa Verde you will never be short of somewhere to visit. There are many beaches with sporting activities, lovely marinas and fishing ports, once again, all surrounded by restaurants and bars serving the best of Spain's most wonderful and traditional dishes.
A must for those guests visiting in August - La Tomatina Tomato Fight in Bunyol - the event has become one of the highlights on Spain's summer festivals calendar with thousands of people flocking to this little Valencian town for this chaotic event. The highlight of the festival is the tomato fight which takes place between 11am and 1pm on that day. Its fascinating and an experience not to be missed.
This wonderful village of Alcalali is situated in the heart of the beautiful Jalon Valley which is quietly situated about 20 minutes inland from the coast and offers some of the best scenery and climates that Spain has to offer. The Jalon valley is a spectacular and unspoilt place with a magnification backdrop of mountains which surround the plains of olive trees, orange groves, vineyards, raisins and almonds. The area is full of natural beauty, traditional values and has a very hospitable nature.
There are many little villages scattered in this valley, such as Orba, Parcent and Alcalali, all of which are unspoilt and each offering something a little different.
The restaurants around Alcalali are splendid, with recommendations of their favourites being made by people who have rented this property all the time. The restaurant owners are always wanting to please you and they cannot do enough for you. The bars are always full of locals.
The village does have local, basic amenities, such as a bakery and a small supermarket but for a larger shop one must travel to Jalon. Jalon has a fantastic market every Saturday morning, from about 9.00am to 2.00pm called 'El Rastro' which runs along the riverbank fo Jalon - well worth the visit! There is a bank in Alcalali for cash withdrawals and a lovely beauty parlour for you to spend it in. There is also a theatre called 'Careline Theatre' which can be found on the Calle de Calvari in Alcalali. Apparently it is very impressive. There is a dentist in the village, along with a Chemist and the Doctor can be found in the next village.
The main town of Jalon is famous for its wines and produces in excess of 2.5 million litres a year and you can sample these wines at the local bodegas or better still at one of the local tavernas, accompanied with tapas of you choice.
The area offers a wealth of attractions including a supermarket, hairdressers, bakeries, butchers, beauty salons, newsagents and gift shops.
A little bit further afield and approximately 20 minutes away are the popular coastal resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe, with Benidorm approximately 45 minutes away.
