After staying here for a a short few days in 2011, when we wanted to visit Jablonec again in 2011, we did not hesitate. The Pink Street House was to be once again going to be our home away from home. A lovely studio with all the facilities you could need, even for a longer stay. A great garden with a pear tree, shaded seating, lots of flowers and butterflies which is a great way to relax. Another one of the great benefits of this place, is the very friendly owner, who was very helpful in answering all our questions about the area. Jablonec Nad Nisou is the heart of the Bohemian glass, bead and jewelry industry. Walking through town, and visiting the surrounding area is like travelling through a jewel box. |

The house was in a great location for mountain walks and exploring. The local buses and trains were brilliant, easy to travel anywhere and very reasonably priced. The house was very cosy and in a nice location. There was plenty to do with a bit of planning and an active imagination of seeking things out. Would recommend the house to anyone wanting an adventure holiday or a relaxing sightseeing break. The house owner is very accommodating with offering information and answering any questions. I can't recommend this house highly enough for a visit and think it is a lovely way to see this pretty part of the country. |

This is small flat in Jablonec. The flat is well appointed; a bedroom, a living room with a small kitchen and a private bathroom in the mezzanine. Jablonec is not the prettiest town in the Czech Republic, but the mountains around are very nice. Very close to the flat there's a train station with connections to Liberec and to the mountains. The owners are very attentive and reply quickly to questions/queries. |
Guestbook for Pink Street House
1. "Thank you so much for letting us use your charming apartment for a week at the beginning of May 2005. We experienced all types of weather, from a small heatwave to a snow shower. The spring in the Bohemian mountains is more dramatic than in Denmark, with fast-running brooks and rivers, filling up with the melting snow. The town is really charming, with such unusual architecture. DENMARK (two middle-aged ladies)"
2. "Thank you for letting me and my husband use your apartment during the hot summer for two weeks, whilst we were visiting our German friends in Jablonec. We are both in our 80's but we had no problem climbing up the stone steps to 1st floor. The area is very charming and peaceful, we enjoyed the walks to the town and to the woods. GERMANY (elderly couple)"
3. "We have thoroughly enjoyed our summer holidays in your charming house and loved staying in the studio apartment with it's wonderful views. It was so peaceful there. We did a lot of walking to the mountain tower restaurants where we were rewarded wth wonderful mountain air, good food and drink . We were lucky with the weather at the end of August, it was sunny but not too hot. The Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery in the town is worth a visit. People can learn a lot about the glass manufacturing history of this charming region. ENGLAND - 22 / 23 yr female students."
4. "We have used the studio for our New Year's 2008 winter break and attended a ski school on the Severak Hill in the Jizera Mountain. Your friendly taxi company collected us daily and delivered us safely back home. It was only about 30 minutes drive to the skiing resort, so it was worth it. We also visited the University town of LIBEREC on a very cold January day. The LIBEREC REGIONAL TOWN MUSEUM is wonderful, with so much information and art exhibitions. ENGLAND (engaged couple in their late 20's)"
