Los Tiros is a cosy cottage nestling in the olive clad hillsides of Andalucia on the edge of a small quiet village which has a bar, restaurant and shop. There is a good selection of restaurants within a short distance. The cottage is ideal for those wanting a quiet taste of real Spain, yet it is within easy reach of historical cities such as Granada (50 mins), Malaga (50 mins), Cordoba (90 mins), Ronda (90 mins) and Seville (120 mins).
It is within a 15 minute drive of the white hilltop town of Iznajar which overlooks the beautiful lake, and a 25 minute drive to historical Antequera with its numerous shops and restaurants. The coast is approx. 50 mins drive away.

The Inland Andalucia / Cordoba Province region
Andalucia has it all! There's the buzz of the coast with bars, restaurants, water parks, golf courses and much more, go a few miles inland and you enter a different world where you will find olive clad hillsides, white washed hill towns, mountains where you can ski, and of course there are historical cities such as Granada and the Alhambra Palace, Cordoba and the Mezquita, Seville, and Ronda and the famous gorge.
Iznajar / Fuente del Conde area
Fuente del Conde is a small village situated about a 50 minute drive away from both Malaga and Granada airports and 15 minutes from the hill town of Iznajar and it's lake. It is a quiet village yet ideally placed for touring the surrounding areas such as the Subbetica National Park where you can see all kinds of wildlife including eagles and vultures, the Sierra Nevada mountains, El Torcal park, and Fuente de Piedra lake where you might see flamingos at certain times of the year.
There are wolf and donkey sanctuaries and other activities include golf, horse riding, and skiing.
How to get there
Nearest airports are Malaga (55 mins) and Granada (45 mins). Cheap flights available with Easyjet, Ryanair, bmibaby, Monarch, Thomson etc. Car hire available at airports. We use www.carjet.com as they are good value and reliable.

Further details indoors: Air conditioning/heating is provided in all three bedrooms, and there are also portable fans available. Heating is provided by a log burner in the lounge, portable radiators, and fixed heaters in the bedrooms. Electric blankets are also provided. .
Further details outdoors: Al fresco dining is a must on the patio and courtyard which has stunning views of surrounding countryside.
The swimming pool is private and there are sun loungers, chairs and a parasol.
At different times of year you will find figs, nispras and grapes growing around the courtyard and patio. Please feel free to help yourselves to these lovely fruits.

Price includes gas, electricity, towels, bed linen, and "welcome pack" of groceries. Please bring own swimming towels. English speaking caretakers will meet and greet guests, and are available to contact during your stay if you have any problems.
Conditions
Non-refundable deposit of £100 per rental week booked required at time of booking. Balance to be paid at least 3 weeks before start date of rental. Strictly no smoking in the house.
