Casa Blanc y Azul has its own large swimming pool 9m2 x 5m2 . It has split level terraces with loungers and chairs with a cabana with cream curtains on the lower terrace to shade you from the midday sun Standing 4 steps below the pool through the arch is the cottage and terrace with a large shady oak tree and a cabanana with curtains and a table and chairs for al fresco dining with the most stunning views soaring mountains plunging ravines.
The swimming pool is lighted as well as the terraces perfect for watching the stars. The cover for the pool can be pulled over at night to keep the heat in, for that early morning swim, and maybe a walk in the olive grove.

The Inland Andalucia / Cordoba Province region
We are set in an area of natural outstandung beauty called La Subbetica with its hillsides covered with olive groves and Iznajar Lake (Embalse de Iznajar stretching over 20km from Rute and Iznajar to Rute.
Casa blanc de Azul is a good base for sightseeing. Only 1-1/2 hours to Cordoba and the famous Arabian Mosque ( La Mezquita ) or the beautiful City of Seville 2 hours drive. Granada and `La Alhambre` is only 1 hour away and then just another 1/2 hour away the International Ski resort Sierra Nevada. Why not try the hot spring water pools at Alhama de Granada only 45 minutes away visit the historic town, The ever increasing town of Antiquera is worth a visit as is El Torcal with its wonderful walks and marvellous rock formations 1-1/2 hours drive.. Lets not forget Ronda and its scenic drive along the winding road. There are not many cars on Andulucian motorways so it is relaxed driving.
Iznajar area
The local village of Iznajar pronouced ( Ith-nak-ar) is just 5 minutes drive away with its steep cobbled streets ancient castle and churches, plus a selection of quaint shops tucked away amidst the houses. There is a hospital, shops, banks, bars, restaurants in the town,plus a varied selection of restaurants just a short drive away. Iznajar also has its own beach on the fresh water lake where you can swim, fish or hire pedloes and enjoy a drink or meal in the beach/bar overlooking the lake.

Further details indoors: The cottage has outstanding lake views from every window. Open plan living area kitchen with butler sink and extractor fan incorperated. Two new comfortable sofas, table and four chairs are all in cream and white. with touches of colour. Lots of videos from owners library as well as books, and, dvds A/c and heater are fitted to this room, heaters and fans are supplied to bedrooms.. Bedrooms 1 has walk in wardrobe double bed with old bedstead oil painting on wall over bed old chest wicker chair and mirror. Bedside tables and lights, with large en suite with double showers. Bedroom 2 has stone wardrobe bedside tables and light old antique pine chest of drawers and wicker chair, Large en-suite with double shower. All sheets are linen with good quaulity cream towels.
Further details outdoors: Step outside the door onto terrace overlooking the olive grove a table and four chairs for your al fresco dining, if you are not in the height of summer there is a patio heater to keep you that little bit warmer when you cook on the gas BBQy. When the sun is blazing the straw cabana with curtains will shade you while you lay on the four loungers enjoying the view. A large oak with a dangling chair hanging down from the bough is there for more comfort. Round the large pool there is another cabana and loungers the terrace overlooking the pool has loungers and two small straw cabanas There is a small dingy for the pool as well as other pool toys. . The sunsets are worth the wait guess the diffirent colours each night The pool lights up as does upper terrace and outside of the studio. This is a peaceful secluded place with only the birds for company.
