The villa is located high in a olive grove overlooking lakes and the village It is a romantic place ideal for couples or families looking for peace and seclusion, Iznajar lights up of a night with the church lighting up at weekends and fiestas. stupendous for dining on the terraces. The Sierra Nevada is glimpsed behind the smaller hills and mountains and beneath this ,the patchwork of fields and olive groves gives an ever changing picture.

The location is slap bang in the middle of all the inland cities with Granada, Seville Cordoba no more than 1-1/2 hours away driving on nearly deserted roads, All these cities have different attractions with palaces,castles cathedrals Al Hambre in Granada and La Mosque in Cordoba being two of them. Stay closer exploring the little white washed villages, many with a surprise in store.

The Inland Andalucia / Cordoba Province region

Inland iznajar is set in an area of natural beauty called La Subbetica with its hillsides covered in olive groves and Iznajar lake(Embalsede Iznajar) which is 20km long. Casa de Suenos is a good base for sightseeing and has many beautiful cities to explore . Seville only 2 hours drive with its many churches and cathedrals boat ride and horse drawn carriages. La Alhambre 1 hours drive in Granada is beautiful by day or night as well as a walk round the little cobbled street. and just another 1/2 to the International Skiing resort, why not try a free bathe in the hot water springs at Alhama de Granada only 45 minutes. Cordoba is 1-1/2 hours drive to see La Mosque. Antequera is filled with historic history just beyond El Torcal the rock formations in many strange shaps and sizes, and beautiful Ronda 1-1/2 hours drive along the scenic route.

Iznajar area

IThe local village of Iznajar (pronounced ith-nak-ar ) is just 5minutes drive away with its ancient 14th centuary castle and churches, little shops and bars and restaurants huddle up and down the steep cobbled streets. There is also a hospital and banks with more restaurants a short drive away

Iznajar also as its own beach on the lakewhere you can swim, fish, or hire pedloes and enjoy a drink,and meal overlooking the lakr.

This villa is Large light and airy with original white beams throughout and large shuttered windows. The 52 m2 sitting room is very comfortable with large squashy sofas and a large window box covered in velvet throws and cushions and a fireplace with log burner T.V and D.V.D player included. The library has many books hard backed and soft backed with videos and dvds and cds and chairs to sit on glass doors leading to sitting room The beautiful cream painted kichen with log burner and another t.v video and 2 easy chairs makes another place to sit. Lots of mirrors and paintings cover the walls... The master bedroom has easy chairs and paintings as well as en-suite bathroom with its jacuzzi terrace and balcony 2nd bedroom with en-suite is furnished with dressing table and chest of drawer and painted chair there is a large terrace with 2 wicker chairs and table . Private door to gardens and swimming pool . 3rd bedroom with en-suite and 2 single beds dressing table . 4th bedroom is a nice room with single beds and bedside table. A large bathroom with walk in shower is downstairs. All sheets for the beds are linen with good quality towels.. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. A/C in bedrooms. as well as heat. All doors lead onto terrace downstairs.

The villa has a lighted large pool 9m2 x 5 m2 with 2 terraces the top one has two cabanas with loungers and chairs while the lower one has a larger cabana with curtains and loungers there are many pool toys The gardens have lighted steps as well as lighted terraces, balconies walkways At the top is an old corn circle with stone table an chairs under the oak tree ideal for late afternoon drinks. The middle of garden has tables and chairs.and coming down to the bottom is a stone circle round an old oak tree, with swinging sofa and bench..
The terrace outside the sittiing room and kitchen is 117m2 with a fountain in the middle, a gas barbecue and dining table and chairs and large wicker chairs and there is a covered area for al fresco dining and 2 gates guarding it from steps and swimming pool . The views are outstanding with the sunsets and the twinkling lights of the village, fort, church. at night giving it a very romantic feel.

With just the stars alight and the flickering candles on the candlabra we looked at the views and thought we were in heaven. Mr. C.D and friends

Horse riding ,swimming, skiing all in one day fantastic. John Woodward Tony Roberts and V L

We cooked for 8 in well stocked kitchen, lounged round pool, read books played music loud for children, played volley pool in pool children ran all round grounds enjoyed our selves, even Granny.
