Iznajar area
Iznajar is a unspoiled, traditional white walled, red roofed village of Iznajar, with its castle dating from the 8th century and church from the 16th century, has spectacular views over a 32 km long lake which hosts a variety of water-sports and fishing.
The nearby beach: Valdearenas is on the lake where you can swim, rent pedalos and canoes, and learn to sail (and possibly other water sports). It tends to be busier on Sundays but is very quiet during the week, even in the height of the season. The water is beautiful to swim in, the bathing is safe and the beach has sand to lie on or for children to play in.

Further details indoors: Double doors lead from a large terrace into the large modern well equipped kitchen with table and chairs. There is a gas hob and an electric oven, microwave and toaster and all the equipment you would expect to find in a kitchen. There is a small utility area off this housing the fridge-freezer, washing machine and dish washer. Off this there is a shower room with basis and WC. In the hallway there is a large selection of books. The extremely comfortable sitting room has 2 twin seater sofas and a dream of an armchair. There's a wonderful unusual colourful coffee table, wood burner, TV (satellite free to view), DVD and music centre. The first bedroom has twin beds, a large wardrobe and 2 chest of drawers. The master bedroom has a double bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV for videos only and an air conditioning unit. Both bedrooms look out over the olive groves to the lake beyond and both have been extremely well decorated and offer very comfortable tranquil occupancy. There are free standing pedestals fans throughout the villa. The modern family bathroom is opposite both bedrooms and has a corner bath with shower over, a vanity unit, WC and bidet. The hallway leads out onto the front terrace and pool.
Further details outdoors: There is a covered terrace area immediately surrounding the side and front of the villa. Plenty of room to relax and eat in the comfort of the shade. There is a table and 4 chairs and also a sofa to sink into. Stepping out into the sunshine with the unusually curved beautiful pool immediately infront (8 x 3.5m and 4ft shallow end and 6ft deep end). The extensive terrace allows plenty of room for sunbeds and swing bench and space to run around. Steps lead down into a garden area fully of beautiful roses and other colourful mediterranean plants. The views are fantastic overlooking the lake and the hills beyond. A pair of large gates lead into the grounds of the villa and there is plenty of parking space. Fencing surrounds the total area of the villa offering total privacy. There are a selection of walks immediately leading off the track, one being down to the lake itself or indeed up to the quiet road that takes you to the beautiful small old town of Iznajar.
