About the home

Five star luxury 4 bedroom flat with balcony and generous pateo . Garden, pool and beach within 150 m. Ideal for children and families.The flat is about 2 km from the town centre (20 minutes along a fine seaside pavement). Dolmus, or small bus, to the town centre every hour. Restaurants in hotels near by and there are two small shops within 200m.

The flat is on two levels. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a double bunkroom . There is a bathroom with shower and lavatory. Also on the ground floor, there is a dining area, lounge and kitchen with a large pateo leading to the garden and pool outside.

The stairway leads to the upper floor with two en-suite bedrooms with two beds each that can be brought together or kept as singles,. There is a balcony from the master bedroom with an outstanding view out to the celebrated Siren Rocks from Homer.

The flat is naturally cool but has air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

Further details

Guests arriving between 22:00 and 08:00 may be asked to pay £15 for the staff. If we have same day departures and arrivals, we ask that guests make the flat free for cleaning after 10:00hrs.

The Aegean Coast region

The Aegean area is about 3 degrees milder in temperature than on the Mediterranean - useful in the high season. Foca is a relaxed fishing village founded thousands of years ago. It can offer a market, shops, Turkish bath, fish restaurants, walks and a variety of beaches. There are boats, tour boats and a regular ferry service over to Lesbos from the quay.
The town is well placed for Izmir (60 minutes) and the established ancient sites such as Ephesus (3 hours).

The Izmir / Foca area

There are some local villages that allow a unique chance to see authentic rural life, customs - eg Kozbeyli. You can find local produce such as kilims, farm goods and cooked meals of excellent quality at very attractive prices.
In August there is a regatta and maritime festival and there are regular cultural events.
