DELIGHTFUL COTTAGE IN SECLUDED RURAL LOCATION YET WITHIN EASY REACH OF A NUMBER OF SOUTH DEVON ATTRACTIONS, SLEEPS 4+1

This semi-detached cottage, adjoining the owner's house, is found at the end of a private drive and is nestled within beautiful gardens which also benefit from far reaching countryside views.

An ideal position for touring South Devon, there are a wealth of attractions within a short drive including historic Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican and National Marine Aquarium, numerous National Trust properties, rustic Dartmoor with its scenery and wildlife, River Dart Country Park and The English Riviera. The coastal towns of Brixham, Salcombe and Dartmouth are also within easy reach. A short drive is Bigbury on Sea beach where at low tide you can walk to Burgh Island. Alternatively, if your idea of a perfect day is spent exploring independent shops or relaxing with a book in a coffee shop then the nearby towns of Totnes and Ashburton have much to offer. For those who prefer a more active escape, the area offers some of the most spectacular coastal walks and views. However, whatever you decide to do a BBQ and relaxing evening in the garden will leave you recharged and ready for another day exploring this beautiful part of the West Country. Play facilities: Shared children's play area with swing, slide and sand pit.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 super-king-size and 1 twin room (with one additional pull out bed) located on the first floor. Shower room: on the first floor with WC. Bathroom on the ground floor with bath, shower and WC. Lounge/diner: on the ground floor with TV/DVD, freesat and woodburner (first basket of logs and coal provided). Kitchen: with electric cooker and halogen hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Utility room: with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside: use of the owners' large garden with seating and BBQ. Amenities: off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, electric heaters and wi-fi included (fair usage policy applies). 2 well-behaved dogs welcome. Regret no smoking. Additional info: additional fuel for the woodburner can be purchased directly from the owner or from the local garage 1 mile away. Location: beach 10 miles, shop and pub 1 mile. Arrival: 3pm.
